  1. I was thinking along the same lines as well. I heard the factory tune on these is a bit rich?
  2. I was gonna say the same thing. I was just trying to utilize the most hp out of what’s in the car now. Idc if it’s 10rkw or 5rkw
  3. I have a local guy here (state side) who is a tuning guru and I’m gonna give him a ring this week.
  4. Any other things required besides the Nistune board?
  5. So my car has 3” turbo back exhaust, front mount, new spark plugs and loom, and soon to be installed splitfire coil packs. So my question is, when is it optimal to get say a Nistune installed to yield the most power out of the current mods on the car.
  6. Already done and fitted mate I also had to trim my fan blades a bit as when I closed the hood the pipe would get pushed down a little and touch the blades E9DEB67C-4B7C-4AC1-9517-76A725E8E406.MOV
  7. Got my kit put in today. Looks great. Only had to trim the air dam about 2”. 68A7FB22-8091-421D-B80C-5FBC85E7A802.MOV
  8. I just hope I don’t do a shit job when cutting that fiber glass
  9. As far as I know yes. It came with the car.
  10. It was a video showing how far back the air dam goes. The kit isn’t installed yet I was just wondering if anyone else had the same bumper and what they did to theirs.
  11. So I got the japspeed front mount kit and my only question is, does anyone else have the same bumper as me on their type M? Looks like I’ll have to trim a lot of the air dam in the front bumper cover. 6F3562FE-7698-4B75-81B2-1A6E99F93901.MOV
  12. I also have changed the fuel filter recently as well. I’ll start with coils next and if not that then I’ll look at a slight fuel pump upgrade.
  13. So occasionally when going through the gears at almost full throttle I will notice a little flat spot in the rev range that comes and goes. I’ve replaced the coil pack loom and spark plugs. Last should be the packs themselves. What’s a good option? Splitfire or yellow jackets or something else?
  14. Got a new set of shifter boots. Anyone else recommend some other interior upgrades? Maybe for the door cards? 27307215-D23C-4ED9-9678-238DA75509A6.MOV
  15. Is anyone else here straight piped? Yesterday while cruising at like 3.5k rpm for bout half a mile or so I came to a res light and saw a little bit of smoke from the tail pipe and it had a burn like smell for a split second. Then today I checked rear view mirror after giving some throttle from a res light and saw a little bit of smoke too. This hardly ever happens. Just wondering if it’s a no cat kinda ordeal. My ford is straight piped as well but I haven’t driven it in half a year due to an electrical issue.
  16. I was gonna say I’ve had similar noises on a different car and turned out it was a bolt that had backed itself half way out of my water pump pulley.
  17. That is quite loud. Does it get louder with rev as well?
  18. Here’s mine. 897876F3-4848-422B-A344-CCF599F766BA.MOV
  19. I’ve already done the spark plug cover in blue. Was wondering on taking off the cam gear cover on what it consists of. Is there anything to look out for on the exhaust gear with the timing sensor plugged in it.
  20. Seems like the 32 was the platform for testing things.
  21. When I push the clutch in t has an annoying squeak. What have you done to fix this?
  22. wow man that's a total difference. puts a good modern look to a classic
  23. All fixed. ???? A3B3D95C-D9E1-4944-B2E7-7597C2AA448D.MOV
