Hey guys, Wanting to get some spare wheels for motorkhanas/drift. After some wheels to suit a 32 GTST, so obviously 5 stud. I am not too worried about the offest, so long as they will fit. I am interested in pretty much anything with or without rubbber. Pair or Set...I don't have brand loyalty, I don't care if they are stockies...*prefer* 16's or 17' Altho I will consider others. Post up what you got and what you want for them. Gotta be within a 2.5 hour drive of newcastle (so Sydney->muswellbrook-->port macquarie?) Not interested in cracked or badly damaged. If it's cosmetic only, and the price is right it's all good. Maximum I will pay is $600, but for $600 I'd want either REALLY good rims or REALLY good rubber. Post here, PM, or email me to show me pics/details [email protected] Cheers Chris

Hmmm fair enough. We are going to Tokyo/Horishima etc in the first week, then the second week is all in/around takahata...hmmmm. Maybe I should just go alone instead of with the school Cheers Chris
-
Hey Guys, I work in a school, I am considering going along with the school when they go over, (September) just curious if any of you guys are from the takahata area and would be willing to meet up and you could show me around or something? We will be in takahata for a week, most the time will be pre-organised, however night times will be free for me to check out the area. Cheers Chris

hey dude, i am asking a similar question ATM so check it this thread it may help. also if u search for offset there is only like 20 results, about 3 of them have a lot of info. one of which links to the various standard offsets... This is the thread I just started http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...129#post1239129

With the 45 offset tho? Can anyone else confirm that standard S15 rims are offset 45 ? Maybe what he has isn't standard, and he just thinks they are? Just that I read they are 38 offset standard... Here's a pic BTW Cheers Chris

Hey guys, I am having a lot of trouble understanding wheel offsets. I have searched and have found links but I just don't know how to adapt to my car. So can someone please just tell me will S15 rims, sized 16 * 6.5 and have an offset of 45mm. Fit the GTST r32? From what I read the S15 stock rims were 38 offset, but I have found some for sale second hand I was about to buy until he posted up they are 45 offset. Also, what is the maximum offset I can go in both directions? Thanks Guys Chris

possible dodgy connections, or that you've blown them...had them long? ran them hard? (be honest ) All the Alpine speakers I have seen are way quiet without an amp, so you gotta crank them, but then they have issues. I have had 2 sets of alpines (not splits) and will never go alpine again...i was given some alpine splits which i run now, same problem, but they are loud enough to hear, unlike the other ones.

in the passengers defence, they may have been in for a joy ride, but not running from the cops...at which point the driver wouldnt let them out...so...i dunno, hard to say what level of punishment they should have got.. But the driver deserves everything that is coming to him, but he wont get charged with manslaughter or neg driving cause the police chased him and invoked it (that's how the courts will play it) It's stupid. Why aren't there people rioting on behalf of the 'good' people instead of defending the guilty. We should start a riot! ;D

if he is going for ls/ps then the RGV and NSR are illegal....unless the rules changed? The RGV and NSR is kinda like learning to drive in a 600HP skyline....fun...but not the safest option for learning on.... also, if u r traveling a long way, 2st will probably annoy you more than it's worth. And you gotta rebuild them..but it's cheap and easy
-
ZXR may be illegal on L/P's ? CBR is good but small as...I had a FZR250 it was the biggest sports 250 I could find and I LOVED it, I regreted selling it. Still do (4 years later) If you can't ride already, try to get out on the dirt first, it will give you much better control and confidence. It is very dangerous on the road...but IF you keep an eye out, and you can ride well, it's not much worse than being in a car. I would NEVER let a friend learn to ride on the ride, I would make them learn on the dirt. And I am very strong about that, I would seriously find a way to stop them getting their license/bike.... RZ250 (you can easily put the 350 engine in) is a weapon. And I mean that. Not a good first bike. It's 80's style 2 stroke, but it flies. And it's learner legal (in NSW anyways)

Hey guys, I am in need of some wheels for my 32, apart from standard GTST 32 wheels, what will fit? 33/34s? GTRs? They are 5 stud but that's all I know, do I just say "I want 5 stud Nissan wheels?" or do I need to know something else? Sorry for being dumb Cheers Chris

Exactl. The people i know that came from africa were the same sorta thing, if your white over there, it's pretty much normal to have people come in and bash/steal your things. The common beleif is that s3x with a white girl cures aids (which apparently was actually endorsed by the govt) so any black person will rape the white girls to kill them off with them thinking they are helping themselves. Things like that...australia is a great country. People have no idea how free we really are. The only problem is freedom allows the people to reduce the police to security gaurds. Oh boo hoo mr police man hit me cause i was caught stealing a car and i took a swing at him... u deserved it moron. Sorry, but i have very little sympathy for those people. I do have some, but the majority is down to personal choice. They chose it, now they should be punished...but they wont be...

Thanx Kel Roy - Only been to 3 events, I probably know them by face, not by name. I only know about 3 people by name haha

I would just say it comes down more to choice and personality than genes. But yeah, say for example child 1 and 2 are brought up the same, dad is a plumber, uncles a plumber, hell lets say all the male relos are plumbers. Does that mean that both children will become plumbers? No. They still will have the choice. Chances are they will...IF they like it....if they don't like it...guess what? They won't do it, cause they have seen it, and won't wanna be a part of it. Same with crime, just cause your family are criminals, you still should have the mental ability to work out what is right or wrong. If you choose the wrong thing, then you should blame yourself. If you were forced to do it however, I would say that is a different case (i.e. mum and dad are crims and know the kid wont get in truble so they teach him from when he can talk that stealing is ok...in that case, it isn't the childs fault. If however it happened when he is 12, he should have the ability to know right from wrong.

So don't do the wrong things? DUH (not a personal attack no you) Wasn't aware of that. So if that's true, yeah you're right they are stirring them, and those police should be punished. The Police are NOT innocent in this. I find the whole 'oh i had such a hard life' BS reason. I have mates that have done it tough. They did petty stuff like stealing food and drinks, it was wrong, but that was how they knew to live. Stealing a car is a differnt story, making police chase you endangering everyones like is just wrong. There is a world of difference between people from a bad neighbourhood/upcringing or whatever and common sense and courtisy. I know quite a few families that have come to australia, from africa, with only their watches to pawn (african law required you could only take what you could carry, so when you left the house and property either became the govt. or you sold it and gave them the money.) One family came with 3 kids, they have had 3 more since, they still have nothing, they are hugley in debt, they have no financial future at all. And you know what? None of them has ever done any crime (ok...i am guessing they prolly have sped...run a red light..littered....but u know what i mean) If you can come to a country with about $300 and a family and survive 23 years without any crime, these people have no reason to claim they needed to steal the car. I know that it is cliche about the one bad apple.... and it's true that it happens. What is not true, is that is what is to blame. Everyone makes there own choices. I garuntee you will find people in these 'hard' neighbourhoods that dont do crime. That is proof that it is personal choice. Same that when 2 ppl are brought up the same, they can be totally different people (take me and my brother for example..we had a good life, we grew up on $25,000 income into the house, but we always had food. a home. a tv. a car. we were even lucky enough to have a motorbike ...granted it was a $500 one...) Merli, this was not a personal attack on you, so please don't take it that way. I just get annoyed with the sob stories when I have seen many, many people make a lot of themselves from one of the bad backgrounds. I understand people have it hard. I don't understand the need for crime outside of the neccisity to live. If I had no home and no-one to trust, chances are I would revert to stealing for food aswell. Actually, i'd just go to a youth centre or something. But I know they exist...others may not.
