  1. they are also known as a DSM. well i think its the AWD version is called the DSM. there are heaps of sites around if u wanna research, my mate was going to get one, but i dont think anyone can comply them in aus?
  2. If it's the best choice of what you have been offered for a 4 year span, and u need to eat something then i guess so...
  3. Hey guys, No this isn't another 'how/who can do it" thread. I just put my car into fast and found out it used to be an auto. I don't actually have the car yet (should get it by the weekend) but I am curious since this has been done, is there anything I need to check out to make sure it is all working right /safe, other than just driving it? Other threads mentioned that the auto ECU may be a problem, Can someone elaberate/tell me how to check if it is an auto ECU in there. The other thing is, is the Nissan FAST software 100% accurate? If not, how can I tell if it has been converted? Cheers Chris
  4. its got nothing to do with fooled, it's got everything to do with marketing. The choices are expensive surf wear sh!t, denim shorts, or old mans pants. I haven't been shopping for clothes for a year now, cause everything is now metros3xual crap. Oh wait, most skyline drivers I have seen wear that crap. Hope I havn't offended anyone here.
  5. mine just got keyed again. yay. well atleast it lasted 4 months since the new paint job. that's 4 times in 2.5 years of working at a school. I aint a teacher, so its not like the kids have anything against me. they just do it cause they can. I managed to protect it for a while cause i parked it where the seniors smoke on breaks/before/after school, but with the new year, those seniors have left and the new ones must have a new spot...i'll have to find where that is.... BTW i am not talking about my skyline, this is my daily driver, and the reason i have to keep the daily driver cause working in a skewl sux. My mate in an EvoS (yeah yeah i know, ricer...but it's beside the point) had his car keyed with "f**k" and "cvnt" written in the side of it, plus the cliche key up both sides of the car. He did not do ANYTHING to deserve it. I think keying is just the norm now, i am yet to work out why, but it seems pretty common to just key a car cause you can. no real reason. a$$holes
  6. You'd still hit it, but seriously, look at the size of her index finger....it looks like she's holding something, it doesnt look at all similar to her other fingers....is that real? or did u photoshop it? cause seriously, that is freaky. her index/middle finger must be 1 inch or more longer than the rest
  7. k...thanx
  8. SK, what about 32 gtst's RB20? Do they have a solenoid that will work? Just trying to work out if I need to source a solenoid or if mine will have one it aleady?

  10. Gday guys, anyone able to link me to a tutorial that will tell me how to..... Get a rubber stamp kinda look, u know, like the ones you get the rubber stamp, then ink it, then bash it on the paper. In addition to that, I would like to have it a 3d look...so...kinda like if I stamped into say butter.... Then I also want to know how to get a tyre track, preferebly indented.... What I plan to do, is have a tyre track that is faded, indednted into the 'ground' then I want to have writing over top of it (possible coming out at you...dont know yet, would have to play) Cheers Chris
  11. hey skyline killer, go to www.nissansilvia.com there are lots of 12 y/o's there u can argue with, you will get a better rise out of them, and also be closer to their maturity.Granted they aren't majority skyline owners, but still your import jap crap stuff. Thanks for the laugh And guys, stop ragging on his armless sister, it's his choice who he screws.
  12. My car is in Sydney, broker is getting it steam cleaned today, should be at his shop tommorow avo, and I am *hoping* to get it this weekend, but I'd say realistically I'll have it mid next week! W00T. Just for people's reference. Purchased from auction in japan on 22/12/04 On boat (Kiwi) on/around 02/02/05 In Brisbane on/around 13/02/05 In Sydney 16/02/05 Will be at complience (same place as import broker) tommorow - 17/02/05 Should have it in my hands 26/02/05 at the latest. So it took me about 2 months from purchase to 'on the road' WOO HOO!
  13. you can get them close to that cheap. if you will take an auto you will get it that cheap. I got mine (well will be) for under $10,000 and it was a grade 4.....so if you take a grade 3 or sumpin you would have to go *close* to your mark.....if u take a grade 3 and auto u will make it I went thru http://www.allinoneimports.com.au not sure if they have gone up since the rule change, but check it out.
  14. haha this is gold. I heel toe or toe-toe depending on if i am wearing shoes or not. I also tried double clutching in the good ol' applause (daily driver) and it makes it smoother....i am getting faster...haha i dont think i will really bother tho, i just wanna be able to say i can do it, and then i can be like Vin Diesel, cause he's my hero, and i can be all like "not double clutching when you should be" and then i will be full sik mayte.
  15. so did u sort it out?
  16. hope they don't, I was looking forward to not being the same as everyone else. however I did notice there is a 4dr in my town
  17. search...i know it's been done before, cause i have asked it! plus i have posted to about 3 others like this too search on my username if u cant find anything from 'normal' search
  18. sweeet i get mine next weekend or during the week!!!! (4dr gtst silver)
  19. Guys, he already said he doesnt have a camera, and the pic is off the net, but it is the same as it
  20. I think they use dog boxes or whatever they are called dont they? hence them not worrying too much about the clutch...like dirt bikes... ( i THINK)
  21. Yeah man, that's how it works. Everyone knows to get good times, you leave just a bit of throttle for at the end Fast And The Furious is like the drift bible of drags man, they know EVERYTHING
  22. The point of heel-toe as far as i know is so you can get your car into a lower gear without a compression lock. That's why I do it. You certainly do not have to double clutch to do it. On the other hand, in my dad's moris minor and dodgy subaru, i double clutch plus heel toe to get them into gear. So it depends on how you meant your statment to be taken...
  23. dude, if u have wet the pod filter. STOP running the car...you want to get all the water out of everywhere first. It seems you have been running it a fair bit, so with a bit of luck it is just the coil packs. My advice would be to not start the car until you have checked out the things mentioned above. Do a search on coil pack servicing Pod filter - I'd disconect it, sit in the sun until it is TOTALLY dry. See if water has gone up the pipe between the pod and the engine, if it has, might pay to remove the pipe, make sure it's all gone. If you have water in the engine it is a VERY bad idea to be turning it over. I am used to drowning dirt bikes, but not cars, I would assume it's the same idea, any place that water may have got, check it out, clean it out, dry it out. On bikes after all that, you take the plugs out and turn it upside down and turn the engine over to get it all out....but I am guessing you don't do that with cars! hahaha (how funny would that be tho..*mental image*)
  24. Ah I knew I read something on here not long ago. Here is a guide for detailing your car. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=47397 and http://www.carcareonline.com/viewarticle.aspx?art=4 was one of the links within the thread.
