My fronts are stuffed. I figured I'd replace all 4 at once. So I was thinking I'd go coilovers since I drift once a month and the car isn't a daily driver as such, although does get a lot of street time (not 'street racing' though) I would consider what you are offering as I want something that is stiff enough to drift on, but not too hard for the road. I am currently looking at the HD systems coilovers for $1295 I think from memory their rates were 6kg and 8kg Just looking at price of your kit..is this right? pair of springs = $154x2 = $308 Pair of Shocks = $571x2 = $1142 Pair Dustcovers/bumpstops = $56x2 =$112 Total = $1562 less 5% extra for being over $1000 = $1483.90 Cheers Chris

i replaced the sway bar bushes, after about 100kms the suspension was squeeking. It was the sway bar bushes, they must have started to wear in, they just needed tightening up again... so check that, you dont even need to remove wheels (altho makes it easier)

Yeah +ve from the cig lighter and -ve I did to the chassis near the gear stick base. I guess I'll try a different +ve when I get the chance

It only happens once the gauge is above 80 degrees...

Hey Guys I just installed a new aftermarket water temp gauge. When I apply the brakes, the temp moves up 2-3 degrees, headlights move it up 5 degrees... Is this a faulty gauge? Or do I just need to wire it better? I mean I can't see how it can do that, the power for the back light should be totally independent from the temperature sender? Cheers Chris

I was just told that the oil kit I am getting (not in stock for 3 weeks) has provision to put the sender, do you think I am better off waiting, or is it an easy job to replace the stock one? Cheers Chris

Hey all, Has anyone installed an electronic Oil Pressure Gauge before? What is involved? My understanding is I 'simply' remove the old sender, located near the oil filter, and put in the new one. Can anyone tell me the basic steps? What size is the threa on the standard one? I will write up a how to with photos when I manage to do it, if that is more incentive for you to help me.
