Ah right. I got a new o2 sensor because the last owner disabled it (probably because it was dead and didn't want to buy a new one), here goes potentially for a new o2 sensor again lol.

From what I understand, it's a ceramic turbine and a plastic compressor (not sure how it doesn't melt then lol) I heard the series 2 r34 gtt has a metal turbine but I doubt that. @GTSBoy When you blew your standard neo turbo it didn't cause damage from memory just the turbine ended up in the cat?

Is that just in the context of a gtr and not a gtt because twin turbo vs single turbo?

Is the A/C compressor supposed to keep kicking in and the revs go up every so often as a result? (for a r34 gtt) Mine turns on roughly every 15-20 seconds if I remember correctly. I know on my other car it doesn't seem to do that but different car I guess. I've had my car re-gassed and it still blows ice cold air after well over a year but have always had this happening.

Do you have a recording of what it sounded like at startup? Just curious to know what it sounds like.

Yeah was gonna say as it wouldn't line up correctly, I imagine if they put the wheel that way it would mess with the wheel alignment.

is it common on RB25det motors that the exhaust manifold nuts become loose overtime? I was inspecting some stuff and noticed that a couple of nuts were so loose that I could literally turn it by hand. Everything is stock on exhaust side unless when they installed the dump pipe they had to remove the manifold for whatever reason. I'm surprised the boost leak didn't show up on the test lol.

Ah ok. I put in a new radiator previously and flushed the coolant out at the same time but it is getting to that 2 year mark. My car is pretty much a daily driver in a sense but haven't put heaps of km on it.

The nissan manual says to change coolant every 2 years. Is this still necessary if you're using coolant like Penrite or nulon which has improved over the years? It says it lasts 500,000km which seems hard to believe lol.

That would be interested if it's the case as seems like it would make the job a lot messier but subaru sells OEM gaskets so seems it might of had it.

Yep I ended up buying a new gasket and no leaks since.

I finally figured this out. That green part, can actually be pushed out. Mine was on the wrong angle because I messed around with it. So what needs to be done is the clockspring to be removed (the loom can't be removed so you need to pull the cable towards you to remove it off the shaft then let it rest on something so it's not dangling) Then you just make sure that the 3 green dots form a triangle and that the 3 holes on the steering wheel inserts into the 3 holes on the green part (you need to push out the green part to do this otherwise you'll keep having the issue with the indicators not cancelling)
