    misfiring or backfiring? backfiring is from excess fuel igniting in the exhaust misfiring is from coils or plugs

    the one on the accelerator is to engage "sports" mode in the auto when you floor it

    JASMA is the Japanese Automotive Sports Muffler Association from google: For an exhaust system to be street legal in Japan it has to go through a Jasma test, if you have an exhaust stamped with a Jasma test plate then it has passed the Japanese drive by noise tests. I'm not sure what the level is set at, but 104db springs to mind...
