  1. Pulled the old engine apart today because I need the oil squirters out of it for the new engine looks like I pulled the engine out just at the right time because they were ready to knock and start damaging things
  2. I have a ppg and not an os88, the person you want to ask is @Piggaz he had the os88 before swapping to the ppg
  3. For an r32 gtr I need one of the bolts for the front of the front crossmember. It’s the set the are linked together with a bracket up top and then drops down through the chassis rail willing to pay for the part and postage as required cheers Brett
  4. Because 735kw is harder to say and doesn’t sound as impressive
  5. It’s alright, you’ll still be impressed when you drive it 🙂
  6. Did a bit of running around today, first I picked up the engine covers I had the powder coat removed and am going to have them painted after I decide on a colour then off to rams to pick the head up all ported and the chambers opened up and all the good bits fitted and valve clearances set also because I was told the Jun cams had to much lift and duration rams supplied some new cams for me Only kidding 😝
  7. The one from the pump to the rh front and the one from the pump to the rear are the 2 that aren’t listed on the nismo site or on amayama as being available
  8. I checked their site again and they only have 3 of the 5 lines for the abs version
  9. Ok I’ll have to have another look, when I was looking the picture shown was always the non abs version
  10. The parts I’d really like to buy is the brake lines, Nismo heritage have some of them but according to their pictures they don’t have the complete abs versions. they have the lines that go from the master to the pump but don’t have the ones that go from the pump to the left and right fronts or the one that goes from the pump to the rear. And nissan in their wisdom made both abs and non abs lines the same part numbers despite them being completely different shapes and sizes
  11. There’s always these little things you never expect but I’d rather just do it and end up with a perfect job
  12. Because of needing the bay to go back to bare metal the shop tried to use stripper to remove the paint and because it wouldn’t remove the undercoat it was decided blasting is the only option. Because of that he wanted the cross member removed and while I was there I removed a the rest of the lines and grabbed plugs for all the AN lines blasting is booked and so is the tow truck
  13. Going to grab the wiring specialties one and remove the wires I don’t require and replace them with ones that I do need ie. Load cell and pressure sensors a
  14. I’ve never had 850s building cars is a journey and one I’m happy I took because I enjoy working on my car not writing cheques for other people to do it. so unless you actually have anything useful to say I’d appreciate if you troll other parts of the forum, like I give you to the courtesy of staying out of your threads
  15. Injector have been changed twice and turbos 3 times at least I’m not the mack daddy of the 80k rust bucket
  16. Yeah I will be replacing the engine harness, just look at it being almost 30yrs old and it’s out at the moment so may as well
  17. He argued that till he was blue in the face and went quiet after I hit him with “does the Japanese vin start with bcnr33?”
  18. We are in lock down now 😞 luckily panel beater are deemed essential. Going to the shops almost everything is essential this time lol fingets crossed you get it back, always feels better when the project starts moving forward
  19. I’ve been told 2 weeks and I’ll be very surprised if it only take that long. I’m guessing minimum a month do you know if they’ve even started on it?
  20. No just doing the bay, i should have said the whole bay is going back to bare metal. The paint on the rest of the car is good
  21. had to get some attention on the pulling jig due one of the workshops it went to using the tow point as a jacking point and bending it. It’s perfectly straight now though the they started taking the paint off the engine bay, the whole thing will be going back to bare metal
  22. I’ve been looking at doing this myself and was going to go to a wrecker and cut one off but this seems like a better option
  23. People are always envious of other peoples success
