    vh-gts i probably the rego number. Prop RPM and engine rpm are unrelated, eg a turbo-prop turbine spins at some rediculous rpm like 14000 but the props turn at 1800-2000rpm

    the rotax engine itself has an integral reduction gear too...i mentioned it earlier was 1:2.2 something so the prop will be running through 2 gearboxes, 1 at the motor and 1 in the prop hub

    Ye to put it inter perspective, the little 9" diamiter fine pitch props for small scale RC race planes turn at ~11,000rpm...using an electric motor

    I doubt the prop turns at 200,000rpm, the rotax 914 has a max crank rpm of 5800 (limited to max 5 mins) and an internal reduction gear of 1:2.273. turning a prop at 200,000 rpm just isnt going to happen. That is way beyond supersonic. Also has a 2 speed prop. Maybe you are confused with the 50:1 glide ratio, whih means for 1 ft drop in altitude you travel forward 50ft

    more power = more load on rods, eg a 250kw rb26 would probably live past 9000rpm with stock rods. 500kw and 9000rpm and I would expect them to snap like twigs but 500kws and 6000rpm it would last a whole lot better

    Arent they in an 80 zone? Perhaps there was a cloud in the sky...cause you know Canberra drivers...cloud appears = brake lights as far as the eye can see

    IS300 had 2jz-ge and w58 from factory. So yeah drops in, but from memory some weird wiring shit makes it less than simple
