  1. The boost gaauge on the dash reads in mm/hg or something have a close look at the gauge its written on it, and your boost gauge reads in PSI so is different. Stock boost runs around 7-8 psi
  2. I can think of a number of ways to stop piping coming off and if your BOV is OK you might try 1. longer pipe sleeve and two clamps 2. roll a ridge in the pipe so the clamp has a bite point 3. Run a bead of weld around pipe as in 2 4. Bush mech a self tapper through both LOL Good luck and what Boost R U running?
  3. Ive got one on my r33s2 any one know how to set the stop points so it is closed when it stops?(on the up down cycle)
  4. For Nissan vehicles manufactured prior to 1 January 2004, Nissan Australia does not recommend the use of E10 because of drivability concerns and/or material compatibility issues.
  5. Are you running a atmo BOV?
  6. Mercury give discounts to SAU members (another reason to join) another option to get a comparison is Option 1 Garage
  7. Thats all well and good but the blends Ive seen at the pumps are 94ron (at the same price as 94ron????) and Ive been told to use 98 and nothing less so it makes no difference, Does it?
  8. I especially like the glints the sun made. Looks GOOD! Feels good to driving whole again Hey.
  9. Good stuff now design a car with the sleek sexy look of the R33 but none of the body roll! LOL
  10. In my house moving experiences, as long as youve had a go at it they are fairly satisfied. No driveway is ever totaly clean and the more you try the more work you create, just do the oil spots and leave the rest unless it was pristine. Yeah oven cleaner is the go.
  11. I spend and i love it. It owes me nothing but a good time. So far I've spent at least 10Gs over the 23g purchase. People say we are being unpatriotic bying ricers but there is at least 100 grand spent in Aust on this thread alone.
  12. Oven cleaner, spray on wash off, the longer you leave the better. do it twice if nessessary. cheap as in generic brands

  17. Alot of servos wont let you fillup without it.
  18. Being a Fitter myself I can tell you your job prospects are pretty good. Depends on what what you want to do. i myself have changed jobs 4 times this year chasing bigger dollars but have settled on a good job wth Co car and negotiated my own package at a decent rate. I applied for everything I could, went along and saw for myself what they had to offer then decided which was best for me. DONT sign on with a labour hire co because you can do it all yourself IF you can afford to take a week or two to do all this. Look at the long term. I found that the high paying jobs were the ones no-one else wanted and involved tasks that were dangerous and short term or just plain boring. The best place to look is CareerOne and is where I got my job. The highest paying jobs are in the mining sector and are mostly fly in fly out, the next best is the Ipswich area as no-one wants to work or live there, your best bet is the south west area of the CBD as they have good workshops and are offering decent wages. I settled in the Logan area when i got here and held out for a job in this area where the wage is a little lower but is close to the coast and Hoons are a part the lifestyle.
  19. I heard a rumour that Tracy is pregnant again and is claiming compensation because Quote " there was no god dam lights and wot do you expect me do eh?"
  20. The 31s had them too but it was activated only over certain speeds
  21. The series2 33 was an option for ABS too as mine doesnt have it either.
  22. Imagine what would happen to a skyline in the hands of someone like him, thank god they are rare over there.
  23. leaky tappet cover gaskets?
  24. Have you tried new plugs? Is the timing right? Are you running standard intercooler? On my car the misfire was the drive pulley keyway was loose, that took some time to figure out!
  25. I have a sunroof in my r33 and if i had the choice I wouldnt have it. Aside form the not closing properly and damp car scenarios, when I watcht it and people are getting in or out of the car you can see it lift on the corner, what I am trying to say is it must weaken the structural integity of the body to do that.
