  1. youve mentioned forgies etc, and lots of bolt on goodies... i just hope you plan on using a decent metal headgasket specially considering the amount of boost you plan to run :s
  2. you have to apply for it through Vtac still, just like any other yr12 student does i belive! and due to the fact that you are a fully qualified electricain would definatly give you credits and exemptions most of the uni's ... rmit, swinbourne etc have electrical engineering cources , both degree (4 years), advanced diplomas (2 years) and diploma certificates (1 year) just depends how far you wanna delve into it because you are only 6 years out they still take your entre 'TER' score into account, but you are assesed as a "mature age student" so best thing would be to contact Vtac or even one fo the universities like RMIT and get some more info! -Ruffels
  3. stress less mate... i have another 1.5 years on my p's too... and i just bought an adm S15 too... we are perfectly safe just if a cop tried to fine you for it... inform them that its the australian delivered model with 147kw, not the jap model that has 184kw Yes you do see R33 gts-t 's with p plates all the time.... however they are breaking the law, and quite often get caught, i know i did... lol that photocopied excel spread sheet you see posted above was given to me by the local copper ... hence the dash next to r33 gts-t 2 door ... but people continue to drive them.. .. there is an astronmocial amount of r33 gts-t's on carsales at the moment... keep watching that figure come 1st july.... it will increase ten fold! and then what will we have $5000 r33's most likely lol -Ruffels
  4. damnnnn .... traralgon? ..............what was the towing fee? i was mega lucky..... oct last year i was a dickface and got caught being stupid... all i got was a requirement to complete a defensive driving course...... didnt take the car either, which was good
  5. it's a long way to the shop if you want a sausage roll!
  6. thats a really good price dude! ... i sold my 94' white r33 gts-t, immaculate cond. 400r frontbar, stock engine, 129k kms, etc etc ... very much like yours for 14,200 about 2 months ago.. and before that was getting tonnes of 12500-13000 offers, so i find it strange that yours is still forsale at that price!
  7. i used that copper stuff to put it on... but im not sure if they "crush down" like most other gaskets... bloody expensive piece of waste if i cant re use it im not trying to be cheap.. if its going to hinder the cars future reliablility once more (trying to make the car reliable) lol then i wont re use it.. i'll go buy a new gasket... just on the off chance, thought that because it was metal it might be reusable thats all!
  8. ok, as the topic states, i would like to know if you can re-use a metal head gasket? not long ago, my engine overheated.... and blew the headgasket... so i had the head checkedout and shaved ... and i put it all back together using a tomei 1.5mm metal headgasket... about 500km later the bottom end of the engine gave way on me due to a bottom end bearing issue... so now ive managed to source a new block... just wondering can i re-use the metal headgasket that i have in there... or was it one giant waste of $300? thanks guys -Ruffels
  9. the shame is ... even if you get the rent money out of her.... its just going straight to your solicitors pocket anyway!
  10. ok, so im pulling my engine out in the garage and everything is disconnected except the right front driveshaft! the left one was simple, was just a case of undoing 6 bolts from a coupling next to the dif, however on the right side of the car it seems to be a splined shaft going into the diff.... how do i disconnect this one? cheers -Ruffels
  11. umm not 100% sure, i think your better off putting a 2nd hand motor in for ~$1000 ... you could replace the bearings for bout $300 ... but thats probably only a short term fix More Pictures added!
  12. because thier penis's are too large as it is... a turbo in the equation would just be too much hehehe (puts on flame suit)
  13. c'mon guys cheap turbo manual R32 here!, also negotiable on price!
  14. meh... if you have the money... why not? i like the wheels, and i like the car it takes balls to modify an expensive car like that... so i say props to who ever owns it!
  15. ummm its done a big end bearing! other then that stacks of cash has gone into the car CarSales Ad Negotiable!
  16. i got a 32 forsale.. going cheap.. (REALLY CHEAP) coz the bottom end of the motor is a bit bung! its a gts-4 .... could be something interesting there as a project!
  17. there are ways around it! i know of some people who have taken thier (r33 gts-t) power/weight fine to court, contested it and won! and now that they have won once.... they can never be fined for it in their same car again!
  18. for those interested... re: Exemptions I rang vicroads (several times and averaged the answers lol!) ""IF"" you manage to obtain a letter of exemption from vicroads due to the car being a work related vehicle... it may ONLY be driven while AT work, for only WORK purposes.... and is not allowed to even be driven too and from work! only AT WORK.... so that loophole has well and truely been covered, because if you get caught driving at say; 10:30 on a saturday night with all your mates in the car, dont expect to be able to use the exemption paper! so garaging, swapping with parents or selling up would probably be quite a wise thing until off your P's... on that note.. who wants to buy my r32 LOL - P-plate Legal!!! haha
  19. i hink i have one of these that you can buy from me! do you have a pic of it to confirm it is what i think is it! cheers -Ruffels
  20. im selling an R32 gts-4 manual turbo listed price is $9,900, but thts definatly negociable! engine needs a bit of work, but heaps of $$$ allready gone into it! http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...p;#entry3035640
  21. have these gone yet rylan? if not surely someone wants to replace thier crummy ciggy burnt seats with these clean original ones! they are a bargain!
  22. don't worry about him dude, he's always got something to say! yeah, they will do that to you also.. mate of mine who bought my 33 just got defected for front tyres... they havent reached the wear indicator, shoulders are all perfect still... but because they are getting on thier way to being unroadworthy the coppa did him anyway! they would need to be replaced in a few months.... but the defect is forcing him to replace them now! not alot you can do hey
