nah.. you'll allwways be right round the cbd area.. police have far more important things to do around there... and will not "randomly" pull you over unless you do something wrong or your car looks completly unroadworthy.... where i live.. is a quite, safe suburban town.. police are bored and have nothing better to do then pull p platers and hot cars over! -Ruffels

i can help.. as the manifold gasket change over is piss easy interms of knowing what to take off and in what order etc.. however the problem you will face with an old car r33 or older usually is that the exhaust maifold studs coming out of the head usually snap due to brittleness and then thats where you need experience with easy outs (not as easy as the name suggests) to remove the broken studs -Ruffels

the question is... if vic roads cant even tell you whats legal or not... then how the hell do the police know whats legal or not... its all one big guessing game... all one big con to get you to "play it safe" and just keep your car standard.. just the way mr. sensible office parliament geek with no outside world judgement or experience likes it

ive got an r32 gtst .... i plan on modding the car.. what sort of rwkw will the r32 gtr pump as an upgrade be able to handle and are they noisey? cheers -Ruffels

now now paul... thats a bit negitive.... a mate of mine put an Ebay T04e on his rb20det, but had some supporting mods, such as 3" turbo back exhaust, front mounted intercooler, puel pump, etc running 15psi i think it was it was very good .. in that the power was good.. however lagg was a big problem.. turbo wouldnt be in action til approx 4400rpm + which kinda sucked it was like ... lag lag lag lag BANG! depends what your after really -Ruffels

a mate of mine (member on this forums) got defected for "unengineered modification to chassis" for cutting the hole under the washer botle in the side sil.. $600 for engineering later... those ARC 180 degree bend ones arent THAT bad..

thank you! finally someone thinking on my level.... lol i dont need other people to spend my money for me i allready decided what i want to do, just what power i'll get and perhalps some slightly better mods that i could do other then the ones i listed im doing this more as a bit of an experiment.. you dont hear of alot of gts-4's i wouldnt mind seeing what they can do... im getting the feeling it will be same weight as gtr with less torque and more throttle lag... but oh well,... its still gonna be interesting... wouldnt mind seeing what happens with turboX's gts-4 after dr.drift is finished with it -Ruffels

im not going to go into a debate about this.. but its a little thing called "innocent until prooven guilty" they had proof that my r33 was over the limit as of STOCK where as my r32 is under the power limit stock.. and its up to them to PROOVE that my car is over power/weight.. assumption wont be good enough eg police will have to pay to have the engine removed, and the engine with mods engine dyno'd and then put the engine back and weigh the thing! it isnt going to be worth thier while! they are more interested in going after people who are driving high powered vihicles that they can proove with a piece of paper that it is over!

haha ash, aww your very keen on me waiting a further 3 years hey i can definatly see the financial advantages and it does make sense! however ive had skyline fever since i was 14.. i waited 3.5 long hard years and saved DAMN hard during that time to be able to afford my r33.. it was pretty much my dream car for my realistic achievable budget.... now that dream is over.... im sick of waiting... im not gonna sit around for another 3 years waiting for a gtr most likely in 3 years time i'll get a gtr anyways $4k on mods is nothing considering im still at home, my parents pay for my everyday living expenses so i can see why a few of you are sugesting i just wiat and go the gtr.. but in the mean time i'd rather have fun, enjoy the car i currently have (r32 gts-4) and mod it as a bit of an experiment... if it turns out to be a flop... then oh well.. it will have been a fun exercise! - Ruffels

ive got a gtr box in my gts-4 spose thats a good thing, also have gtr suspension but will probably be upgrading t coilovers at some stage

yeah i know.. i do care about the power/weight.. at the same time i dont.. i can easily get away with it by modifying a car that is under the power/weight limit to begin with... as aposed to the gtst25 which is over as of stock! anyhow, too late i allready have a gts-4.. its not THAT bad.. yeah its pretty slow, but it handles bloody well!
