  1. Who wants to play "vigilante's"? :headshot:
  2. I would like to see the guy in perth who thinks he is on the Truman show get up there an talk.... If you dont know who I mean... there is a guy in the city who hands out this letter he has written to Rupert Murdoch. He think he is being filmed by Mr Murdoch and he is on some sort of "truman show". He goes into angus and robertson all the time. One time he asked my sister for books about crimes against humanity.... she took him to the section and there happened to be a book on Rupert Murdoch's biography on a stand next to it. This guy went nuts and started crying saying she put it there on purpose for the TV show!
  3. Hey The last couple of Sunday's Dan and I noticed this thing in Forrest Place called the "Free Speech stand". I dont know if it is there every day, but on the sign it said from 2pm - 4pm. People just line up to stand on this podium with a microphone and say what the hell they like. The other week some sped got up and was going on about George Bush (I think he just memorised a Michael Moore book) and this week an old guy was reading out 1975 medicare figures to prove that women leech off the goverment more than men (I reckon this guy got phucked over big time by a woman.... he was bagging the shit out of them!) Anyway..... so what would you say on the free speech stand? I'd like to get up there and complain about domino's employing little 16year old dickheads who are put into the position of "supervisor"... who then, because have such small penis's or were bullied at school and think this is the time to get 'pay back' - think its ok to abuse customers when they make a complaint about ther shitty drivers who cant follow phucking instructions.

  7. This thread is closed. SAU does not condone breaking the law. If you want to see how fast your car will go - take it to the Motorplex on Wednesday nights. Thank you to those who actually gave sensible responses.
  8. Wilkinson supension in Bayswater are excellent for suspension. If your an SAUWA member you get discount. Wheels World in osborne park are great for tyres and they'll sort your camber and toe in depending on the handling you want and wear on your tyres (the owner does MC comps and knows his stuff. ) By the way - if thats your car in the avatar... I think I saw you on the Graham Farmer fwy today

  10. Topaz - I think you should ring the DPI (dept of Plannning and Infrastructure) so you can get a definitive answer. The number is 13 11 56 for lisencing and registration
  11. ^^^^ Since this thread was posted in the WA section - common sense would say its in regards to WA rules. If he wanted to know about NSW, he would have been smart enough to ask in the NSW area.... so thanks for making a useless post You still have to pay a yearly car rego fee like everyone else. As this registers your vehicle - not your plates - to use the road. But once you pay for the plates - you dont have to pay any on-going "lease" or anything. I am sure if you had rung the DPI they could have answered your question. Try this website www.dpi.wa.gov.au
  12. I have one installed in the center console - the detectors are mounted on the front & rear bar (for alerting to cops coming up behind me) - it picks up lasers and radors. You wouldnt know it was there if you didnt know where to look. It has always gone off with plenty of warning and is set to not go off at doors etc.
  13. Radar/Laser detectors are fully legal (purchase and use) in WA. We are different to all the other states in this regard. You could have found this out by doing a search on the net.
  14. So no more Ford with the WCE number plates then? Great news Jarred! Look forward to seeing you on the next cruise.
  15. Thanks for that TJ
  16. Sneeza

    G'day.

Dan_the_man will prolly plan a SAUWA next month some time (its only a week away!!) We're having SAUWA drinks at the Brisbane Hotel on friday after work - come down! Thread is in the events section.
  17. Cut the bull shit everyone and keep it on topic
  18. Sneeza

    G'day.

Hicks! Long time no see! When you gonna bring that lovely car out on a cruise?
  19. lol@Paul - did you see the date on this thread? Bloody old threads getting dragged up
  20. Mate - you need to start learning the purpose of the search facility on these forums before asking simple questions.
  21. If he is having all these issues with things falling off etc - how on earth did it pass compliance... or even the pits?
  22. We have a few car shows a year - like Auto Salon etc where there are dyno comps and show'n'shine comps. Drifting isnt really big here yet - there are lots of other motorsport events such as MC (like Motor Kahna), hill climbs, track racing and drags. There is more of a focus on V8 car racing in Australia rather than japanese import car motorsport. But it is getting more popular! V8's are the performance car of choice with most Australians (ie Holden and Ford). Those black strips you saw were more than likely caused by 'trevs' in V8's just doing burnouts to impress their mates
  23. Hyperdrive can do brakes (I know they do bendix). Since you're a SAUWA member - show your card for discount!
