  1. My cousin came over from South Australia especially to watch the game - he's one of those pyscho Collingwood supporters who thinks eddy Mcguire should've got the Pope..... I believe he went home crying
  2. Chris - I hope you'll be racing that in MC! Put some of those lotus guys to shame
  3. hey Mitch - there are 1000 threads in the WA area on insurance. You should try using the "search" facility.
  4. Scott - the 11sec rule is if you run under 10.99 you need to comply to certain ANDRA rules to race that car again. Ie - parachute, role cage, driver medicals etc
  5. Congratulations Scott! Hope you have many years of happiness together. Best wishes!
  6. We were right next to Keir Wilsons set up. We had our banner up and everything!! Mirkz - we saw you sitting down and we considered throwing a chip at you..... but we didnt want to waste it since it cost us $5 a chip.
  7. Just wanted to say thanks to Mel who helped Dan and I put the tent up and set up the SAUWA area. Also thanks to her and Al who watched the tent while we watched a few of the SAUWA team compete.
  8. The red stickers ("hot plate decal" - represents the skyline tail lights) you got sent are one of three different types of SAUWA stickers we use - depends what we have stock of, to what gets sent out . Most people put those on their rear quarter window. See this link for how its meant to go together http://www.sign-fx.com.au/catalog/Car+Club...als+%28small%29 For the SAUWA MC team - I am the person you need to speak to if you are interested. We are the end of the summer season now with the last round next month. Drop me an email - [email protected] - if you are interested in knowing more about the comp/team.
  9. At the moment everything is sorted, but if anyone at DC wants to lend a hand and take over watching the SAUWA stand whilst some of us have a break - that would be super! Paul wont be at a computer today - if anyone has any DC questions, email me ([email protected]) or give Paul a call on his mobile..
  10. The AHG skidpan is $725 to hire for half a day. So either morning of afternoon session.
  11. This is a really great opportunity for SAUWA and our sponsors to get some exposure! Hyperdrive will be involved in helping Keir out. Big thanks to Ken and Lumpy for their support! So all of you who have been lagging to sign up for SAUWA - this a really good reason to join... you get to meet Keir Wilson!
  12. I recommend Ken at Hyperdrive (in Malaga) - 9209 3100 - they are also a sponsor of SAUWA - so if youŕe a member, you get discount! ..... if youŕe not a member - sign up anyway using the ¨Join SAUWA¨ link.
  13. You suck mikey!! I wanted those sway bars for this month!!
  14. Burswood has 5 star rooms with Spas $475 - with that you get entry to their Intercontinental Club lounge for free drinks and canapes (Finger food). If thats a bit toooo rich - the Broadwater hotel in South Perth has reasonable priced rooms with spa's and I heard it is really nice there.
  15. Pozza - Have you contacted him to see what the story is? I am sure he can give you an idea of what the hold up is.
  16. MC isnt expensive - we pay $70 entry fee plus plus one off $45 AASA lisence. MC isnt everyone's thing - but it still gives you a rush, requires skill and challenges you to beat your own times and other peoples. The best thing about it - is you do it in your own "off the street" car - so no roll cages etc needed.
  17. Dan says yes.... he's just too slack to get off the couch and type this himself
  18. Closed - this thread is bollocks and a waste of space. TJ - save it for Antilag
  19. What forum rule was broken Steve? He was only quoting another website (a government one at that) - not stating a personal attack on a business. I suggest that some of you look at this site - http://raws.dotars.gov.au/rawswebpublic/RA...rch.asp#results It will tell you who is RAW for the state of WA. Also alot of other good info for this site. Skylinemad and supahiro27 - I believe that importing was NOT worth the hassle over the savings costs. I imported my car under the old laws and it would have saved me alot of time and hassle just to buy here. And the savings weren't really that much in the end.
  20. We dont have a particular friday - its just when Dan has time to make one or there arent other events on Seriously - feel free to organise your own cruise and advertise it. Read the cruise rules and guidlines for making a cruise. People will come!
  21. I'll have a look up here in the hills... heaps of cars get dumped up here in the bush (near the dams) and stuff. I hope it all works out Troy.... and they catch those little bastards that did this.
  22. We have our night cruises on friday nights because we can run them later with less traffic and the day cruises are on sundays with BBQs You guys are free to organise and advertise your own cruises on here if you want to run one on a monday night!
  23. We use the forums for knowledge sharing and general socialising. We hold monthly car cruises, social events. Also arrange driver training days, enter into comps such as Drag Combat, Auto Salon etc Also by joining you get access to our sponsors (see the sticky thread at the top in the WA section)
  24. Mikey - you do not need to leave ok. You were one of the first people to sign up for SAUWA at DC last year, you've offered to help out at events more than once. Which is alot more than I can say about some other people in this club. We need people like you who are willing to help out. We all have asked stupid questions before... I remember my first post... I got shot down in flames! But Mikey - you've stayed on despite getting crap...showing you are a bigger person than many... and I personally havnt spent hours convincing you on MSN to come on cruises for NOTHING!! So you're not phucking leaving OK!
