  1. Thanks for the honest opinions guys. No rush to sell, nor a desire to do so as such, so I guess we'll see what happens. Yes rose/jase, I lurve the nismo kit More likely than not I'll still have it 5yrs down the track & go further with it, but if someone wants it I'll think about selling if its reasonable enough to me. Just surprised I've haven't had anyone look at it locally I guess.
  2. Am I asking too much for my RS4 Dayz Stagea? $13500 with all the fruit. Pretty much all the bolt-ons you could wish for. Talked to a bloke at the gym today, he sold his RS4 for $9500 yesterday, stock besides exhaust. Have had no real interest at this stage, advertised here & Drive. Thoughts? Im kind of thinking perhaps Im silly to sell; keep and barely use over the next 4yrs, then strip & part out? Or go through Uni, get great job, throw in lager CC injectors, wire up Z32 Nistune, cleanup the body with a full respray & keep for many years to come? I dunno. Besides some under mirror rust and paint chip loss around rear wheel arches its in pretty sweet condition. With a forged engine, flowed head, etc etc I thought $13k was cheap? Or am I dreaming? Link in sig below.
  3. Shoulder day today; getting better with it although currently its my least fav.day Tried some squats in the smith machine today to see how low I could go - pretty shitty feeling to be able to only go down a few inches due to the no-knees. #@$*^ Guess I'll try & perfect good form on the deadlift instead come leg day, although my legs want to bow outwards during the hip thrust. Got to find that happy medium. Decided to cut out as much Carbs as possible (besides Dextrose in my pre/post shakes). Had some pringles friday night and felt awful All wkend! My body did NOT enjoy it whatsoever. Going to try to stick to a more 'primal' based diet, Meat & Veg/Leaf. Probably stick to chook breast & tuna for the next month & see how my body responds, and go from there
  4. Kam - Do you make a low mount option without a wastegate mount? For RB25, using internal wastegate Garret turbo.
  5. Thanks terry, yes I think so. If no one wants it and I've still got it post-Uni I'll take it further with a nismo bodykit, full respray, larger injectors & z32 nistune ecu setup. But for now im better off with a cheap economical 4cyl runabout.
  6. I would have come along (+ my kids) but got my sisters 30th at that time (- my kids, grrrrr). Have a fun night y'all
  7. Yeah I did a lot of home weights, then gym sessions 2-3x a week after footy training. Trained 5 nights a week and played 2-3 games a weekend. All with ruined knees that dislocated numerous times daily, bone-on-bone. Got to the stage where I guess I overdid it for too long resulting in numerous surgeries. Hindsight is great, but at the time all I wanted was to reach my goal of 1 1st18 Sanfl game. LOL, yeah thats it. Ruck, moving to Centre-half forward and full forward during quarters. Felt I would have been best suited to CHB as a rebounding defender setting up play on the counter attack / forward-press spoiler, but too many coaches are set in their ways...... Enjoyed ruck & chf tho. Nothing better than taking the pack mark outisde 50 & bombing it through closely followed by tapping it out of the ruck down the throat of my onballer who then burst through the congestion & goaled on the run. Fun times, pity it didnt last long
  8. Cardio - age 17 to 18, SANFL (football) training Weights - currently 5days a week, however only 7 weeks into it.
  9. Ask Sau-user Hypergear Turbochargers for a quote to hiflow your shagged turbo. Taking off turbo, postage, turbo rebuild, return & reinstall will take a few weeks.
  10. cheers for the link mate TBH I think they are a good buy at the price they are. Going to (eventually) buy a set for my Stags front R32 sumitomos
  11. yeah, take them out of the firewall connections, and reconnect to each other - so that coolant stays in the engine bay system but doesnt get through to the leaking heater core.
  12. Heater core has sprung a leak. you can disconnect the pipework behind the turbo on the firewall and reroute it so the coolant doesnt go through the firewall to the heater core.
  13. woodchops - is this it? - http://videos.bodybuilding.com/watch/19221/power-circuit-training-cable-woodchops kind of like a golf swing ?
  14. I have no idea. Can trial fit if you like - Im in christie downs 5164.
  15. good work!! keep at it.........
  16. I know, its all good. Just saying more is better than less Also, many Protein shakes include only a handful of the 20 (by memory) essential amin acids whereas a good BCAA powder should have a mix of most, if not all.
  17. VERY interesting articles. Im going to try it - wont use the bikes again (no-knees dont like them anyway) but instead add in 1hr beach walks a few times a week once I wake up, with a 1:4 L-leucine/casein shake mix to drink as per the 2nd article. Mate, BCAA's are essential for cells to harness energy, do the activities they are programmed to do, and obviously to split and multiply. Your cells break down the protein (shakes) to produce simple amino acids to then use as needed. By adding in plenty of BCAA's the extra protein you take in can be used for the muscle cells you have broken down though training. By taking BCAA's you will ensure minimal muscle tissue is stripped away as a source of body cell food, and will recover very well from previous activities you have performed (weights, sport, cardio; life stresses, etc). Take in as much branched chain amino acids as you can, as in this instance more is better than less, ie take in little and your body will scavange muscle & break it down for cell energy, take in more than needed and your body will expel what isnt needed ensuring other body cells (such as muscle) arnt broken down. BCAA is energy food for your cells. I recommend to JEPPE to buy a tub and have a protein/bcaa shake 2x a day.
  18. For muscle recovery surely a large dose of BCAA (branched chain amino acids) during & post weights workout would be ideal in Jeppe's case? Ive found them to be invaluable - not one 'day after' where my muscles feel spent still; everyday Ive been ready & raring to go for a fresh 90+min session. I too have had low energy levels for a long long long time, due to v.strong medication, low motivation, lack of sleep & high levels of pain. What a turn around... while Ive never been diagnosed with glandular fever (I doubt it, sure it was the meds & the situation my body has been in for many years now) my energy levels have gone through the roof since getting off the meds last Sept and starting the weights on 20Dec, same goes for my mental health. Get into the weights slowly, get your body adjusted to the increased workload you are demanding of it, and over time gradually ramp it up - you'll reach your goals with hard work, sensible eating & exercise, & determination.
  19. I feel you would be better off using a cheap daily runabout (under $1k) while rebuilding the stock stagea engine. Sell runabout when finished with, cost you stuff all at the end of the day.
  20. Protein, Creatine + BCAA's - the branched chain amino acids really aid recovery, or so Ive found. Id suggest buying all 3 as seperate products, and mix into a pre&post workout shake. www.mrsupplement.com has some specials going at the moment. Today was 1st session of Split routine. Completed the exercises right on the hour mark, so that bodes well for when Uni starts to aid in getting in/out, refresh & train ride into city for morning classes... pity I cant sort out a timetable as yet, grrrr.
  21. Diet looks good IMO. PM sent re: suggestion.
  22. Cheers for the info - no worries, not in any sort of rush. Unfortunately I cant go manual due to removal of both kneecaps - sorry
  23. Exactly! I havent been doing bench or biceps (2 sessions out of the 21 Ive done so far have included bench press & bi curls); working on legs, lats, shoulders, back, & finishing off with tris & abs - chest & arms get a workout from the pull/push stuff Ive been doing. Used to lift age 19-23 at gym, then on/off at home for a few years. 1st time back lifting in over 5+yrs now that Im dealing with my knees as best as I ever have. Seen what heavy weights (& shoulder cuff damage) have done to my brother (stop/start due to injury) so Id rather exercise with volume over mass at this stage. Lol at benching 130+kgs - with my long long limbs that isnt exactly a goal of mine Happy benching much lower weight and using the matrix method at this stage (5 full reps, 5 half up, 5 half down, 5 full) to involve all areas of the muscles & tendons. Good advice Rev, cheers mate
