Well I have no idea how much a clutch install is worth, but Bens time is definately worth whatever price tag he puts on it. I guess you could go to any unknown mechanic that probably sells stolen parts and breaks/steals a bunch of other parts on your car while they're at it, so you keep giving them/losing money for months, but ultimately you pay for quality. Of course some mechanics charge more than you'd expect and yet still do an extremely crappy job, but I've never heard one complaint about Racepace or their work, unlike most other 'performance' workshops in VIC.

personally I wouldnt even look if the owner cant even spell 'fuel pump' or 'gear knob' or 'stereo' probably been neglected for the 9+ months. you can edit a price 'mistake' on carsales btw, so its a lame excuse. another thing to make it seem dodgy is that the rego number was entered into carsales incorrectly.. (you can do searches for rego numbers) 136ks, needs a new clutch, probably had a stack at the front and 13k to a dodgy seller.. i'd keep looking..

why would it matter what was being removed and from what car? i think 'stereo' pretty much covered it.

One really good reason why people shouldn't do burnouts/floor it etc etc as they leave a business.. seen it happen so many times lately.. (I mean all cars though, not imports in particular). Recently when at a tyre shop it was just one commodore after another being a spanker on their way out.

oh and one more thing.. if you guys don't end up getting a group discount, coburg drive in is village cinemas and there are vouchers in the entertainment book for it And also during the holidays etc they have 2 movies for like.. $16 or something from memory or like $35 for a car load or something (thereabouts).

ewww FnF.. no way would I spend $30 to see that film I don't even think I would spend that much on the DVD Anyway the drive in is still good.. lucky they have 3 screens so we don't necessarily have to watch the gay FnF hehe. Also I believe Coburg have speakers you can put over the pole thingies outside the car.. but being Melbourne it would be a cold Winters night with the window down.. How can you people still have stock stereos? You can get the crappiest of crap cd players for like $60 these days! (thats 2x gold class tix hehe)

Well I get even more crap in the 180 than in the 32. Some people seem to think their laser's and any other sh1tboxes eg crappy old falcons/commodores/new buzzboxes can 'beat' me (why?!) so they tend to speed up/cut me off/not let me in/tailgate me (then sit at 90k on the freeway when I move left).. blah blah. Happens all the time. People go out of their way to cut me off. I really don't know what they're trying to prove, but for some reason when they see the 180, they start acting like total 'tards. Doesn't happen anywhere near as much in the 32. I think perhaps they just don't even bother to try to 'beat' a skyline. And yet they're probably both around the same KW now anyway and I'm the same friggin female driver. Even on the freeway at 100 k/hr some people will be RIGHT on my ar5e, totally unbothered that if I brake they'll be buying me a new rear bar.. or merge RIGHT in front of me because I leave at least one car length safe buffer zone. Drives me up the wall on a daily basis. My daughter is in the car frequently, which doesn't seem to stop most people, if they run into me because they're being a tool, I will lose all sense of 'calm', I can tell you that much. Rhett you need a sticker.. something along the lines of "just caus you're in a sh1tbox doesn't mean I have to be" hehe
