Car rego also pays for roadworks/upgrades, traffic management and other essential services. The CTP is only a small part of rego cost. Dog registrations are not just for returning dogs to owners but are required to account for which dogs are where in case of dog bites and other damage/problems/crime and barking complaints and to pay for fine administration, community education, rangers etc. Much the same as car rego, there needs to be an accounting of which dog comes from where/who. Dogs and cats also kill local wildlife and some of the money goes towards protecting that wildlife (depending on the council). Basically by not desexing your dog, you are in effect giving money to someone else because you are enabling them to subsidise their fees, if that makes sense. If they didn't offer the incentive the fees would be cheaper. Alot of people don't register their cats though caus it's alot easier to get away with. It's a $200-500 fine if you don't register a pet. I told this bint a few weeks ago if I caught her dog sh*tting on my lawn one more time & didn't clean it up, I was going to make a complaint to the council caus it's a $200 fine, funnily enough I haven't seen her since. Also you can make complaints about a pet on your property and if they return the owner can be fined. God knows how I'm supposed to keep the cat off the neighbours garden though... she's whinged to me in the past about it. (anyhoo just a little bit of extra info for you)

West & Interloper: they can hit the brakes in the middle of the freeway at 100k/hr for no reason and if you run into them it's still your fault. Rear ending is always the fault of the driver behind because you're supposed to be watching for brakelights blah blah and if you don't have enough time to stop then supposedly you didn't leave enough room. Which is why I really cant understand why so many ppl tailgate in VIC?? Personally I can't even see the car that's 2 ahead in the 180 caus its so low... if there's a late braking dick in front of me and he slams on the brakes I'll be in trouble.. so I always leave so much room in front of me people think it's an invitation. Anyway so sorry to hear about that Scott.. there was so much work/love in that car.. hopefully you'll get a decent payout at least. I totally have neck empathy after straining mine this week.. been 5 days of pain so far. how did you guys go? PS there's a good pie/pastry shop on Mahoneys Rd that has bacon/egg rolls etc in the AM too. On Saturday night I realised something was really wrong with the suspension.. I was almost in the gutter every time I hit a bump.. it had gotten incredibly worse over the course of a week.. luckily I was already booked in for a wheel alignment and got Chris to have a look on Monday. Unfortunately the back right, sh1tty, 2nd hand, stock suspension I put in (not chris) to clear the defect was completely fux0red and leaking everywhere. Explains the stain on the driveway I noticed earlier in the week at least... Chris managed to get new rear shocks in there and all sorted on Monday for a very reasonable price and it feels like new now One good thing about Chris is that everytime I've had a problem, if he's had to fix/swap something, he always shows me the deteriorated part when I pick the car up, don't even need to ask...

If you don't feel confident about leaving your car there, simple solution.. don't take it there. There's plenty of other workshops that can have a look at that if you can't find an answer on the forum.. and believe me 'stalling' has been covered heaps of times and it's in the workshop manual as well. Just depends on the symptoms but it's usually 1 of about 5 things off the top of my head.

Indeed some F*head in a 33 did a burnout right out the front of my daughters school one afternoon while there were children walking out the gates (he's also done it in the AM too). I know many of those young kids and if some f*tard ran over one of them because he was being a complete loser.. words couldn't describe the outrage. Luckily my daughter is too young to walk outside the school by herself, but none of the other kids there are old enough either, to know what to do if some f*head loses traction and goes flying towards them. And do you (fritter & other morons) think the other parents/teachers are going to know the difference between his white 33 and our white 32? Who do you think will end up getting the repercussions from it when people assume it's the same car? If you're having problems getting the correct answers, speak to Nitton at City Nissan spareparts (swanston st or whatever). He's the most knowledgable person there, always been a huge help in the past & nice guy too.

This is mine. Basically it attaches to the bottom of the front bar. Mine scrapes on everything, it's great!! None of this.. 'you're parked close enough when the tyres hit the gutter'... rubbish. (bit hard to see unless you enlarge, sorry photoshops not installed atm)

quick question, do you guys know how much it is approx for a front bar to be sanded back and resprayed? Doesnt have to be an A1 job for a show car or anything, and its probably about half the size of a skyline front bar. Thanks for any help
