  1. Hey All, What a day. I've always said i enjoy the SAU track days the most, and again I was right! Thanks to all the organisers and helpers on the day. You really made it run so smooth. The V35 held up really well, and looks like I'm down to somewhere in the 1:17/16's (hand timed) which I'm quite happy with considering I don't have one of those cheating turbo thingamajigs I did a high 1:18 in the second session with a 100kg passenger and only got quicker as the day went. Mostly because I took some "grow some balls" pills at lunch, and actually started braking where I should have been all along
  2. haha - cold is not the word! My mate that was with me, kept saying the inside of his gut had frozen :-) And feel free to post pics of the Black V35
  3. Thanks heaps Andrew, +1 for letting me know how to pay. Got caught up in the day and missed you at then end.
  4. See you guys at bunnings at 5.45. Now to get over the excitement and try and calm down and get my a$$ to sleep!

  7. Same with mine, just checked the name and it's the GoPro Hero. Is this what you've got? I screwed up my sound setting last time and had no sound at all!

  9. DIF I have a suction mount camera designed for motor sport which has been used at Wakie both inside and outside of the car on an Autosports day. I assume this would be ok? It's designed to hold onto the outside at over 150mph and i don't think i'll be getting anywhere near that. I'm not fussed on the outside of the car but will be using it on the inside. It's called - Motorsport Hero Camera. Tiny, yet effective Cheers Bobby

  11. Very nice. Love bronze on black. So much so that I just did the same and put Bronze TE37's on my Black V35. And man am i starting to develop a liking for a nice black 32 GTS-t. Your car looks great!
  12. Not sure how heavy they are compared to alluminuim ones, but have been told the semi-extended lugs weigh 1.4oz each. I think a Rays one was aroun 0.8oz. They told me I would get more info today so should hoepfully answer a few questions. As for air tools, personally i wouldn't use them on any aftermarket wheel nuts. Rays nuts are $200 or so and an air tool would easily destroy them. From what I've been told, you should always tighten wheel nuts by hand with a torque wrench, regardless of stock or aftermarket.
  13. PM to please mate. And more importantly don't back down. Places like that will give that line to 10 customers, and if 5/10 just pack up and walk off they have saved themselves a sh!t load of money. Stick with it and get what you paid for.
  14. Quick question, Do you need to sign the disclaimer if you have a CAMS license?
  15. There is or maybe was a very nice set for sale here in Aus. Check the for sale on here or maybe it was on the 350Z-tech.com site, in the Aus section. Saves shipping at least, if the price is ok.
  16. Not 100% sure Steve, but pretty sure that the Brembo's on the V35/350Z are the same as the Brembo's on the 33/34 GTR. The new V36 ones pictured need an adapter for the V35 so you would definately need this, but might be different if you already need an adapter to fit 33/34 Brembo's
  17. From pad surface area alone you would assume they would have to have some benefit. These will also only come down in price as the US guys start upgrading to bigger brand name kits, you would imagine.
  18. Hey Anna, I'm waiting on dimensions from the supplier, but I know in the US alot of people use them on all Japanese Wheels. Rays, Works, Nismo etc.
  19. Yep, sure are. Just check they fit over Brembo's if you have them.
  20. I'll update the first post as I get details, but can tell you Made of Chrome Vanadium Steel - not alluminium. From pics i have been given they seem narrower than the Rays which gives more clearance for putting on/taking them off.
  21. Most days there are people there with various tools, but if your likely to need something i would bring it myslef. You never know, this could be the one trackday that everybody decides not to bring anything As for where you put them, I've always just left everything in the pit space where the car sits while it's not on the track. Never had a problem with things going missing, and seeing as we're all in different groups there is always people in the pit area.
  22. Hi Guys, I'm looking into organising a group buy for Muteki wheel/lug nuts. I'm trying to get prices but it's proving difficult without given the stockists any kind of quantities. Pics are below If interested can you please let me know which type - Standard, Semi Extended, Extended and what colour? They have a slimmer diammeter than standard nuts so you no longer have to scrape the crap out your wheel getting them out. Also all nuts are a "lock" nut so to speak, as each will require the key that comes with them to remove them and out them on. At this stage I want to see what interest we get in the next couple of weeks, and if there is enough to get a good price I'll run the group buy from around 01/07 to 20/07. To make it worth while we would need around 25-30 orders. I'm still trying to get a price indication and would post it up as soon as i get one, but indications are that they would be around the $60-$70 mark, with the semi and extended being slightly more expensive, and the Neo Chrome slightly more again. Cheers Bobby Standard - Both closed and open ended Black Blue Red Chrome Silver Semi Extended Black, Chrome, Neo Chrome Extended - Black, Titanium, Neo Chrome
  23. The only thing I'm looking forward to more is the excuse thread (sorry wrap up thread) once it's all done and dusted. Now that will be entertainment
  24. It's better than this morning. It said before 5mm of rain 50% chance. checked another site and it says clearing morning shower. 30% chance of less than 1mm rain. :-)
  25. Ahh, found it again. Here you go. If anyone checks them out, would love to hear about fitment and finish. The prices are finally what you would expect to pay for bodykit prices instead of us having to look to the US. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...mp;s=&f=177
