  1. Hey Geoff, I used a trader from www.g35driver.com Jump on their and just PM a few traders to get quotes. Most I've found are more than happy to ship to Australia. I got mine last year and I paid around $270 US for the springs and shipping. :-) Cheers
  2. Wow - Congrats! post heaps of pics when you get some
  3. Hey Micah, You more than likely have a base model with the Bose optioned. I think all manual 03/04 came with Brembo's. Another way to check is does your air-con allow you to set te,ps for driver and passenger? I think this was only available on Premiums. Front seats replaced - you didn't just pick up a certain car with blue front seats and full bodykit, with Carbon bits did you?
  4. Completely agree that whoever packaged the clutch was in the wrong, however the onus is always on the person handing over the goods. Can you imagine if you ordered a 350z from Nissan and when you go and pick it up there is a Tiida waiting. Then imagine that the Nissan dealership said oops they sent the wrong car from Japan, so you need to send the Tiida back yourself and sort it out with them. Maybe an extreme example (actually maybe not with Aus Nissan dealers ) but hope you get my point. The guy bought the clutch off a retailer. It is their responsibility to ensure that they hand over what the customer has paid for. Full Stop. In this case, i don't think slide did anything wrong as he seems to have tried to resolve the situation by asking for the part back to verify it.
  5. B.B.C? didn't they sing "Do me" and "Poison" OK, no more crap. As said count me in.
  6. In, Disclaimer - I've seen the pics from Texi and i WILL NOT partake in any black dildo festivities
  7. No worries buddy, if you get me near a 1:12, and sideways, count me in.
  8. cool, putting my hand up for instruction Actually the way i drive i think i would benefit from 3 instructors at once, one in each passenger seat :-)
  9. All Vendors are welcome to become paying advertisers on Skylines Australia. There is a special section for Vendors who do this. I think the problem you're describing above has more to do with the amount of V35's in Australia rather than not having a specific vendor section for them. Again the new format should allow for model specific searching. With so few cars, there is minimal constant demand for any specific products and thus few vendors are interested in paying to advertise for a handful of cars. Personally I would love this to not be the case and would love parts to be available here. As an example I just paid $150 US shipping for a clutch and flywheel, and now need to get brake pads and a few other things. My only advise is to try some Aussie 350Z suppliers. Another option is for us to start "lobbying" Aussie shops such as Just Jap, Unique Autosports etc etc to start stocking V35 parts. The only way they will do this is if they see there is a demand. So we need ring them first before we shop overseas. Of course it doesn't help when the parts are cheaper to ship from the US :-)
  10. Hey guys, Was thinking of merging the multiple NAV related threads, and making them a sticky. It seems one is popping up on a weekly basis lately, and hopefully having it a sticky should eliminate this. Any objections? Cheers Bobby
  11. Hey Guys, Yep this has been brought up before, and is currently being discussed by the moderators. At this stage it is being held off as there may be a reconfiguration of the For Sale section which could give you state and model listings at the press of a button. Hopefully there will be more to advise soon, and I'll keep you guys updated. Cheers Bobby
  12. Woo hoo, Definately in, definately paid, definately e-mailed not that i'm excited though Does anyone know if Wakie have relaxed the no standing on the pit wall rule? I was down there with autosports a little while back and they were quite strict on this. Cheers Bobby
  13. :-) I've got Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's at the moment and without a doubt I have never driven on a better street tire. At over $900 a corner and standard equipment for the Zonda or Koeningsig (can't remember) you would expect that though :-) The tires handle everything i can through at them. Awesome grip in the wet, almost hard to break traction in the dry and they wear very very well so far. Have used them on a track day and they looked the same when i left the track as when i went in. Oh and whisper quiet, no road noise what so ever. As good as they are though $900 each is a bit steep so i doubt I'll be using them again once their gone.
  14. Damn it. I had the cake with a stripper jumping out already on it's way. Oh well, I'll divert it to work, and it's cake and strippers for morning tee. woo hoo
  15. Is there any drone at all with the exhaust? I have a fuji and might be interested. I like the Fuji alot, more than alot actually but in the back of my mind want something a little more agressive.
  16. Also, sounds obvious, but have you searched for a half cut from Japan, or a full car thats maybe been rear-ended or something?
  17. Really good point and may be worth looking into. If it's just the tranny broken, could you not ship that without the whole car? Oh, and good luck with it buddy, i would be devestated. Unfortunately it's looking like the CVT is the model to stay away from. Wasn't there someone else on this board who had a massive issue with the CVT?
  18. I've got the gopro and their pretty good, but as a heads up, your really paying for the mounts. The camera is not very flexible, but it's tiny and is not too bad. I screwed up the sound setting first time out and so got no engine noise. The mounts though are sensational, and make it very easy to move it around. Safely attaches to the front bumper, bonnet, windows dash anywhere you want it. And it's weather proof.
  19. One thing to note guys. We have a different ECU to the US G35. I have looked into having mine reflashed and in speaking with a workshop in the US have confirmed that they are different. (This place has both) Not sure if doing the steps would be doing anything bad, just saying. If anyone gives it a shot, let us know. Cheers Bobby
  20. Yes please, Can't wait. New clutch/flywheel goes in next week. I was thinking of putting in some cat-delete pipes for the day. Any views, is it to risky?
  21. Hey Geoff, Here is their website http://www.ismotorracing.com/ Haven't had a need to go back, but haven't heard any horror stories in the meantime as well. The guys were great last time around and I'll probably go again soon to do my accessory belts. Just make sure you tell them what you want, and you shouldn't have a problem. hint - if you're doing manual trans fluid, make sure you tell the GL4, they were going to use GL5 in mine which is bad for brass synchro's
  22. hey John, Go as close to empty as possible and then fill up and see how many litres go in. It does sound like a faulty guage, and i know that the fuel gauges/sensors in our cars and 350z are nothing short of crap. I've filled up to the point where it just about overflows out, and the guage shows half a quarter to go. I can also be at half tank and within 5k's it shows close to a quarter left
  23. Happy Birthday Madam Secretary (oohh sounds so whitehouseish)
  24. Hey rip, Welcome mate, very nice car, love it in white. But that's not a premium. You have an Anniversary model. Much rarer than Premium. Cheers Bobby
