    Gtr Vs. Nsx

Exactly, I've parked the V35 next to an R33 a few times and the size difference looks huge. It's the way the modern cars are going I guess. At the end of the day though, personally I think it gives the car more road presence and with the performance the R35 is putting out, who cares how big it is. Look at the size of most supercars. They need a lane and a half when driving. The only difference is the R35 is taller.
  2. \ James, I'm in Liverpool area, so let me know what time you're passing through and I'll meet you on the Hume somewhere (crossraods servo), or if there's a few of us, we can organise a place.
  3. Thanks again guys, really appreciate all the comments. The car has Nismo shocks and Nismo springs which lower it a bit but nothing drastic. I've got no scrubbing issues at all as the offsets are quite safe. +24 front and +28 rear. I'm actually in the process of swapping the wheels out and will more than likely be putting on a set of Bronze TE37's. Oh, and it's an 04.
  4. Thanks guys. Waz, the wheels are Front - 19x8.5 with 245/40/19 Rear - 19x9.5 with 275/35/19
  5. I've used 10w 40 in all my changes as well, and have had no probs. We have a warm climate here in Aus so I think the 10/40 is fine.
  6. Got some quick pics of the new TE37's, after having them on the car for a while now. Not everyones taste, but i loooooove them. First, how the car used to look, with Volk SF Challenge And now with Bronze TE37's
  7. I've used Royal Purple for my last change I did my self, and the workshop who did all my fluids on the weekend highly recommend it and use it on all there cars, so i got them to put it in again. They swear by it and use it in everything from R34 GTR's to EVO's. It's the only oil I've put in the V35, but I remeber the first change I did and it was a big improvement over what was in there.
  8. Yeah i saw that on the Autosports site. Pretty stupid i think. I haven't been to 100's of track days, but the one's i have been to I am yet to see any issues with passengers or people mucking up with passengers. It was part of the attraction for me.
  9. :-) he forgot the s www.autosports.com.au Now, who's driving down on the Saturday morning. Anyone interetsed in cruising down together? Bobby
  10. fingers crossed. There's a whole heap of people who haven't paid yet, so hopefully you should get it.
  11. Ben, I can't answer for sure, but have been to a few track days there with plenty of people running in car camera's. Try asking someone on the Autosports forum or even Circuit Club. Can i ask where you're getting it from? I may be interested as well. Thanks Bobby
  12. Forgot to add - I may be selling mine if you're interested, as I'm thinking of going to the 5Zigen exhaust. PM me if you like. Cheers Bobby
  13. I've had the fuji on my auto that i had, and now have one on my manual. Definately no drone what so ever and very subtle, especially when cruising. Gives a nice growl under load, but sometimes leaves me wanting a little more :-) How's the Kakimoto going Spikey?
  14. Hey Liz, Do you head down through liverpool/crossroads?
  15. Good stuff, I was thinking about staying at the cabins, but might drive in on Sat instead. Either way, will see you down there.
  16. I'm in. Booked yesterday. The car's getting a health check this Sat and if anything comes up wierd I may have to ditch it, but otherwise will be there. You going down Sat morning Chris? I'll see if anyone else is cruising down from JDMST. I know there are a few staying there the night before. Cheers Bobby
  17. Off the top of my head, I'm pretty sure they do, but I would check G35Driver.com to be safe. Also remember that as the 350Z springs are lower, you may end up with camber issues if you put aftermarket 350z springs on your V35. Just depends on how low they are.
  18. Definately lower.
  19. Yep, and what better way to get over the fact that I can't go to the F1 then to yell my a$$ of through Wakefield pretending I'm Murray Walker. And it's Go GO GO
  20. good stuff - there's a few going down from JDMST as well so I'm might book this one in.

  22. RIP Ashley. Heard some intersting comments on the news last night from Supercar drivers. DJ says that Adelaide is no place for a development series as it's hard enough for the big boys there, let alone in-experienced drivers. I think thats a pretty fair comment. Another driver (can't remember who) also said that the saftey in top class cars is much more advanced than the car that Ashley was driving. Bit of a worry considering they race on most of the same circuits and would probably do some similar speeds.
  23. exactly - I thought I would be rejected but in the end i passed first go with my V35 even though I had the exhaust and suspension. I got through nice and easy when I imported my first V35, but I think it could be cause the V35's are newer NON turbo they may be a little more leanient on them
  24. Hey Corinne, What car did you bring over? I just did this with my V35 and went as above, except before I handed over the monies I had to take the car through a random "ID Check". If the car has rego it's no big deal as you can still drive it while waiting for the ID check but not sure if they check other things like mods while doing the "ID Check" mine was pretty standard, with only exhaust and Nismo suspension. As for driving down, definately do it. I bought my car from Noosa and had a truck waiting in Brisbane. An hour into the drive from Noosa, I cancelled the truck called the Mrs and said, see you tomorrow. I also got a nice souvenier from the Queensland police about a week ago (I bought it in December), a pic of my car passing a nice Torana photographed by our friendly speed cameras. :-) And a nice close up as well. I think you can see my smile in the pic. I'm getting it framed as i type.
  25. Guys, isn't the fuel filter in the V35 one that doesn't need replacing? Hence why they've put it in the tank. I'm on my second V35 and this wan not mentioned in either. I think the requirement is that all "consumable" filters be replaced. If the filter is designed to last the life of the car, the it shouldn't fall into the same category as say an oil filter, or air filter. My opinion is don't do it.
