  1. haha, my 1st cousin does then but he's the last person i would recommend. I think his motto is along the lines of "Ey, don't tell me what you want. I know what you want!"
  2. Firstly congrats, great car. I'm actually looking for a white 32 V-spec now as well and can't wait to get my hands on one.
  3. It's a bit out of your way, but my mate owns his own gearbox workshop in Ingleburn. http://users.bigpond.net.au/gearbox/
  4. Congrats, wow they look gorgeous with the NISMO bodykit!
  5. Can you post up Km's and as someone said Rego? I can't find the add on caresales. Cheers
  6. Awesome news guys, Hope the rest of the stuff is recovered, and great to see the good guys win one!
  7. I think from memory they were more expensive in Japan as well. The V35 if you take 03/04 for example, "track"version, both cars were identically spec'd, with the V35 having more options, being a larger car, with two extra seats. Why would they charge less?? Both had 18's Both had Brembo's, Both had the same engine Both had the same running gear V35 was longer so more "material" costs
  8. I Looked into it and the leasing company in question where happy to do it. No inspection was necessary, but the process I was discussing, was I buy the car get it here, registered etc, then they treat it as just another Aussie vehicle. Once it's registered there's no risk/issues for them I don't think a lease company will be prepared to take on a car which isn't actually on the road here in Aus, unless it was a brand new car purchased from a dealership and you were waiting on delivery. If you wanted them to basically approved upfront you may need to order the car from an import dealership?
  9. Oh man that's unbelievable guys. Steve, maybe edit your post about the G4's being exlusive to you. That way they won't know when they try and sell them, and you can catch the c**ts! (in case they browse here) I'll edit my post if i see you remove it. Good luck guys
  10. as if the line can keep up with the bluebird.
  11. Hi Eric, If you want to try a black V35, let me know. Definitely interested. Here's a pic of the car
  12. Yeah, I saw a few pics of black cars including the one i attached, and was thinking, there's something different about these cars compared to mine, but couldn't pinpoint it. You're right though, on silver the clears definitely look better. IMO anyway.
  13. That's them! I used them in QLD as I am in NSW. Had them do the inspection first that way i wasn't wasting an airline ticket for nothing. Once the inspection came through with flying colours, flew up, checked it out and drove it back to Sydney the same day. I think you can get different levels of inspection as well.
  14. Why don't you get one of those inspection companies to do it? Can't remember the name at this time, but you get a 4 or so page report, with plenty of photo's. Everything from paint depth check to see if it's been hit, to compression test of the engine. as always there not the be all, but most will also offer you a 3 month warranty or such that the car is as the report states.
  15. Chef, has there been any quick changes to help this, or is the system as was, just buyers are a little more careful?
  16. The dealer and more so the government! When you have a decent car market like the US does, you don't have to tax the crap out of anything imported in order to force people to buy the local product. So lucky us, get to pay tax on tax on tax, +GST for anything not made in Aus :-)
  17. haha, what is this the Nick and Nick show Well it got me thinking and looked into it abit. The parts for a stroker kit (3.5l going to 4.2l) will set me back around $6000. That's for a full kit, all parts needed. Then you have to factor in machine shop work, plus the actual install. I also found a stroked engine to 4.2l with HKS twin turbo for $15k plus delivery from the US. Now if i win lotto, expect to see that on the car. but, again leave me alone, I'm trying to sell it!!!!
  18. I've bought a V35 from Japan and locally, and was much more pleased with the local car. My import process went fairly smoothly, but there were a couple of points on the car not mentioned in the auction sheet. When it came to my second V35 I went locally. Actually interstate. I had the car completely inspected with a 5 page report highlighting any issues. Locally you're also able to go and see the car for yourself, and of course take it for a test drive. BUT the most important thing!! If you find what you want locally, you don't have to wait 3 months between handing your money over and driving the thing :-))) I would consider importing again, as the people I used were great. (quick plug - J-Spec). But would really only do so if I'm saving around $5k+ or so or if I had absolutely no luck here in Aus.
  19. Is there anyone in Sydney who has Amber but wants clear? I'm thinking of going back to Amber as I think it looks better on black. I'm undecided yet, but let me know. I'm specifically looking for Sydney as would like someone to pop over and we can simply swap them then and there. See what i mean Oh, and if i keep the car, this is the plan for it. Top Secret front end just like in the pic. Cheers Bobby
  20. Should be there. As my N/A will leave me feeling quite inferior, i reserve the right to throw a fit at any time of the day.
  21. What's the plan for the cars Micah? Are you trying to get both roadworthy, or is one a parts/donor car. Did you end buying the Chargespeed car? Oh, and congrats buddy :-)
  22. Nooo, leave me alone Nick, I'm trying to sell it not get more ideas :-) I've seen a couple in the US, and they are crazy!!! Being just a V35 though, it's a big investment and to do it will have to decide to keep the car, well, for ever!
  23. Really not sure Rianto. I got my data off the Shell website, which just says all post 2004 Nissan's are compatible (I think from a certain month) Not sure what changed from 2003 to 2004, but maybe give Nissan a ring and pretend you have an 03 350Z. As far as i know, all engine internals are identical. Not sure though if the ECU plays a part in it? Sorry mate.
