  1. Hoping to get the oil cooler fitted this weekend. If all goes well, might join you guys:-)
  2. Can't believe I'm going to say this, but yes Adam I agree. Not simply for penalties, but by far Ferrari draws the biggest dollars to the sport. Therefore Ferrari = God. It's a business guys and anyone who thinks that those in charge would not do what they can to ensure they get the thousands of Ferrari fans at the track for the remainder of the season is kidding themselves.
  3. Dude, relax, it was a jk to highlight how silly i think the decision to hand the win to Massa was.
  4. Personally I think LH was definitely in the wrong, but as I've said earlier, given the "spirit" of the race, the way they were going at it, through run off areas etc etc, and most importantly, the fact that what he did at that particular time had really not much bearing on the race, then the penalty was too harsh. At least give it to Kimi!! WTF did Massa do to deserve that win? It was great entertainment, and if this doesn't get overturned, just add one more reason for the drivers to play it extra safe next time round.
  5. And that my friends is game, set and match! He wouldn't have been that close behind Kimi in the dry let alone in the rain on slicks.
  6. Completely agree mate. I think in the whole "spirit" of the race, where they were both attacking, racing down the run off areas, and given the conditions, the fact that it's even being looked at is a pretty pi$$ poor effort. The fact that Ferrari didn't even bother with a complaint proves this. It was a good stoush, Kimi crashed out, and Massa was to far behind to be hard done by through anything either Kimi or Lewis did. What are they trying to prove with all this, other than a few stewards trying to get their names in the papers??
  7. It's a tough one, cause the stewards will argue that had he taken the bus stop without cutting, he wouldn't have been as close to Kimi as he was. From what I've read, I think the issue is that even though he gave back the spot, he was still closer to Kimi than if he had gone through the corner behind him.
  8. ^^ Love em!!! When I was shopping for wheels, I was seriously considering these Enkei's. I think they're called GTC01, and have a nice curve in the spoke, and being Enkei, very very light weight and strong.
  9. Gotta say, they're not the easiest car to sell, but at the same time, those interested know what they want, and have usually done a bit of reaserch on the car. So whne they find a good example, they usually know it. Mark, I made $6k on my auto :-), and lost a couple on the 6MT, considering i changed the clutch and stuff. But overall came out on top if you look at both cars.
  10. With the TE37's on I sold it for around $40k. Which i think was pretty good for an 04 with 60k's. It's why i tell people not to rush it unless your desperate, and hold your price. My auto non premium, in 100% stock condition also sold for $40k last November. It helps to though that both were genuine, very well looked after cars.
  11. Exactly. Keep personal conversations/question to Pm please. Closed.
  12. haha, definitely on my list. Any scans yet guys??
  13. ^^ aaahahahahaha Happy doofday buddy.
  14. lol Thanks mate, Not getting my hopes up on the Grp A engine until i find a definite way to confirm it. Not really fussed to be honest as quite happy having an N1 engine :-)
  15. Just posted on JDM Style Tuning as well. A fair few guys there enjoy track time.
  16. Yes please Rezz and Shan, anything you've got I would love to get a copy of. One of the other things I'm trying to find out is engine specs. My chassis is definitely N1 but the engine is not 24U. I read somewhere that the N1 also came with a Group A engine which is stamped 05U which mine is. But all regular GTR's are also 05U. The engine has a red coil pack cover which looks like it's how it came, which again i was told that the red coilpack covers in the R32 are for Group A engines. Sorry to be a pain guys, it's just if it is a group A motor then the car is even rarer than i thought as it's pretty much all stock. Cheers Bobby
  17. Thanks Guys, really appreciate it. I saw that somewhere yesterday Terry and will definitely be getting it. Shan, Does that have pics/details of the early R32 N1's?
  18. Hey Guys, Are there any "Official" books which outline the history of the GTR? R32 specifically? Also does anyone know if there were any Nissan brochere's for R32 N1 GTR's? I'm hoping to get my car to original concourse spec and want to see whats what. Trying to find definitive info on R32 N1 GTR's is harder than the needle in haystack. So if anyone knows where to get, or has any official info on R32 GTR's which contains info on N1's, please let me know. Cheers Bobby
  19. Hey Mate, Been through this in the last couple of weeks myself. My car is an 92 R32 N1 GTR, confirmed through Nissan Fast and i have log books for the car up to present. I have had the car inspected and there is no evidence what so ever that it has had an engine swap. BUT it does not have 24U stamped on the block. Unfortunately i wasn't able to find anything definite that say 100% ALL N1's were stamped with 24U I did however remember reading something that stated later model N1's were only stamped with 24U and being a 92 model R32 in my case it was the first "N1" release. The reverse is that everyone i spoke to, had no doubt that all later model N1's were stamped with 24U so if it's an R33 or R34 it should definitely have it. If you find anything "official" from Nissan, let me know. Very interested.
  20. Hey mate, Interested in these. Will they both simply bolt together and onto a standard 32GTR exhaust from the below cat, backwards? What brand are the front pipes? Also any idea on postage to Sydney? > Some stainless steel front pipes to suit GTR, off a 32, not sure what else they might fit, immac condish, has flex joint on front section. Two 2.5" into a single 3". $200 > Stainless steel 3" high flow cat. Immac condish, retains insides. $120
  21. Happy B'day Liz. All the best
  22. If i can get a tune done in time, i might be a late call up. sorry can't commit though.
  23. Hey Guys, I picked up my GTR last week, and it has an HKS EVC II boost controller, however was putting the alarm in yesterday and noticed under the dash it is not connected. With this being so, what boost would the car be running? I was going to wire it up, but on one end under the dash it has a 9 pin connection box, on the other end there all individual wires, so would have taken a bit of time. In the engine bay one of the ports is not connected. From the instruction i've found it's the manifold pressure sensor port. Any advice?
  24. Closed, You have PM These have all been discussed many times over. Cheers Bobby
