  1. Hey guys, I noticed what felt like some small sticky oil droplets on my garage floor. Just looked up under the car and saw this. Any idea what's leaking and what could have caused it? Red circles are little drops forming or where it's quite wetish from the oil. Happened out of nowhere. Cheers
  2. Excellent, thanks Sam. Looks like I can leave around 3ish. Woo hoo.
  3. Andrew, You are a legend. It's definitely the exact same kit and goes in the exact same place. The only prob is that I'm missing the bracket you have in the first pic, but lucky it's the simple one so should be able to buy/make one pretty easy. I see what you mean about the filter location. In the descriptions i found of the kit it does say that the filter goes on the right strut tower but I'm a bit worried about the lines being short. If not it should definitely mount lower down near where the intercooler return pipe goes. Now for the fun part :-) Hopefully I'll get a chance to give it a shot this weekend and see how i go. Thanks again mate, really appreciate it. Bobby
  4. Thanks Steve
  5. Hey mate, Around 6ish in the afternoon, Liverpool area just off the M7. Still very keen on coming so may even do the morning meet up, cruise to where ever i get to by say 1pm/2pm and then turn back, which gives me 4 hours to get home. Cheers Bobby
  6. Not Happy, My previously free 25/10 is no longer free!!!!! Anyone have an idea on what time I could be back in Sydney by, at the earliest? Cheers
  7. Happy B'day Beer man
  8. The crappy acting and shitty jokes didn't bother me one bit. What did bother me was that Top Gear UK is renowned for being a PERFORMANCE car show more than anything else. Yes they run many tests on daily drivers and vans, but at the end of the day, the reason i tune in is to see a Lambo, Porsche and Aston getting cained through the Italian alps. Going off the 1st epsiode, we will get nothing like that in the Aus version. If i wanted to see a Ford v Holden comparo i could pick up ANY auto magazine in the country, or simply pull up a chair with a 6 pack on my driveway. The one part of show which was just a tiny bit related to performance cars ( The stig's laps) was fu(king embarassing to watch. So in conclusions TopGear Aus really sucked the big one!
  9. Sorry to hear guys. Been there and definitely still miss it.
  10. hey mate, interested in selling the nismo lm's seperately? if yes, pm some pics, and price to sydney. Cheers Bobby
  11. thought you'd like it mate :-) I've got no problem supporting motorsport, but at the end of the day money spent on this event, is money taken away from my local tracks. Money taken away from tracks means more expensive track days in the future. If there are any tracks left that is. Eastern Creek for example pays $600k per annum in rent to the NSW govt and does all it's own upkeep etc. The SCG pays $1 rent to the NSW govt and gets millions in granst per annum. So without a big event such as V8's EC is going to continue to struggle. Yes I know they're trying to redevelop it, but without big events signed on, who's going to invest.
  12. I attempted it, but my recorder said "Get the fu(k out of here!" The track was by far the most dissapointing part. There are more than enough 1 minute-ish tracks in oz and they come up with that crap cause the UK use an air field. What rubbish. Sad part is that nothings gonna change cause the episodes are pre recorded of course. Oh well, my wife will be happy. She can watch Idol next week.
  13. Yep. My mate actually washed it, dried it and stored it straight away. A massive job, especially if your in a hurry, and that's why he ditched it.
  14. Hey mate, Yep as far as i know the width is the same, but Nissan used a slightly wider tyre on the rear. Shipping to Brisbane should be somewhere around the $150 mark if i remember correctly, possibly less. If your genuinely interested, let me know, PM me your postcode and I'll get a proper quote. Cheers Bobby
  15. Boring track, long straights, plenty of room for spectator stands = cash cash cash for Tony Coch(unts pockets. Isn't that what motorsport in Aus is about? Everyone taking a shot in the ar$e for Tony to get rich?
  16. Hey guys, One thing to keep in mind, is that the you need to make sure your point is very very clean before putting it on, and the same goes for the bra itself. Small specs of dirt, and do massive damage under the bra. A mate had one for his XR8 and used it on trips to Sydney from Melbourne. It definitely works, but really had to make sure it and the car were spotless before he used it. Once or twice he was in a rush and couldn't do this, and it left a fair few marks on his bonnet. Not sure if it was the heat or the bra moving around a bit, but after that, he's refused to use one again.
  17. Hey Mate, Postage to Sydney? Do you have any with info/pics of R32 N1 GTR?
  18. Hey mate, Had it on my V35 as well, but with no extra tint on top and it wasn't to bad. A mate of mine who tints cars, said though to match the fronts I would definitely have to use an illegal tint fro NSW so I just went legal up front and left the privacy as was in the rear. My car was Black with black interior so the difference wasn't to noticeable. Bad part is, short of getting new glass there's no way around it. If it's just the darkness of it that you're worried about, just take the tint off and leave it as is, as i said it wasn't too bad for me. Cheers Bobby
  19. Hey mate, edited the first post. 18x8+30 all round.

  23. Roy, what about one of the many Euro pocket rockets? Civic Type R?? Not current gen, a few years back. Or does it have to be RWD and a bit bigger?
  24. Yep, 100% agree. The picture of the blackk V35 I posted above, involved 1 1/2 days of correcting the paint before the first coat of anything was applied.
