  1. That's the one Chubbs, the 5th anniversary day. It's definitely full but I'm hoping someone pulls out last minute :-) I'm pretty sure though it's the 13th. Cause the 12th is a Friday.
  2. Save yourself some cash. Fly over to Bris, makes ure all is ok after complaince and ready to go. Jump in and drive straight down the side of Aus to Melb, then truck it to Perth. Much cheaper and you save about 5 days. Plus one hell of a way to get to know your new car. Grab mate Day 1 Bris to Coffs Harbour. Take a nap, then Day 2 Coffs to Syd or even Canberra (P@rn is legal here). Then head down to Melb!! transport from Bris to Perth is much less frequent than Melb to Perth
  3. Good stuff sounds like another happy GTR owner :-)
  4. Tell me about it mate. I was really REALLY looking forward to it! Jess, I'm trying to get a spot at the Circuit Club day at Wakie the week before and if that falls through OP it is! If worse comes to worse I'm taking a day off and doing a speed off the streets day at Wakie, cause i will definitely be doing a track day before the years over!
  5. Hang in there if you can. I held tight on both my V35's and both were sold within 3 months for not a cent less than i wanted. I even made some money on the auto :-) Eventually the right buyer comes along. I had an auto NON PREMIUM which i sold for $40k. The buyer specifically wanted non leather as his son was allergic or something. So there is always a buyer out there. you just have to find them :-)
  6. Well I am officially out. I've left it to the last minute to try and make it but it looks like the earliest i can get the car tuned and ready will be on the Saturday of the event. Not fu(king happy!!! Now does anyone know of any other track days before Xmas? :-)
  7. Congrats buddy, looks great. And yes, have a read through the V35 section as pretty all your questions should be answered somewhere in there. Chris Rogers is definitely the man when it comes to the audio and Nav. He's based in Brisbane so may be worth while to get him to work on the car while its in compliance and save yourself some time. You've probably already found it but in case you haven't check in my sig for the V35 section. Cheers Bobby

Hey mate, Will you post the R34 GTR Cat to Syd? If yes how much to 2170? what's the condition of the inside?
  9. I went from a 33 to a V35 and the car wasn't for me. Actually went to an auto V35 for six months, then a manual V35 for six months and in the end have gone back to a 32 GTR. The cars are fantastic as a cruiser but for me they just didn't have that "edge" if that makes sense. I'm like you and really only look at Skyline's for my cars and the V35 seemed very appealing. Personally i enjoy the odd track day as well, and as good as the V35 was, it just didn't put that smile on my face that the 32 does. Would i buy one again? If i could afford to have it as well as teh GTR, no doubt about it, and I'll probably get the V37 for the misses in the near future. My 2c.
  10. Dave, Can you get a pic of the air pods? I have M's on my GTR which need replacing and just want to make sure they're the same type. cheers
  11. Sorry to hear buddy. Heard this morning on the radio, and was thinking how fu(king dumb must you be to get a kick out of doing it. These little fu(kers are simply a waste of air, and should be stood up against a wall and have 2kg rocks thrown at them!
  12. 2 birds 1 stone. hmmmmmm We can strap some shopping trolley wheels to the spa, and chubbs can tow it behind the Bluebird. Wedding party cruising in the spa! Hollywood baby!
  13. Haha, would you like pics?
  14. Thanks Chubbs. You gotta get out and see a Dutton. Just a few hours there and it seems like the ultimate track day(s) I'm trying to convince the in laws and my mate who owns the trailer business for sponsorship for next year or the following and if it works out I'll definitely be doing one soon!!
  15. When I spoke to her this morning Kel, I believe she was 7th/8th in the rookie class. Which i think was pretty damn good. There's some serious machines out there. A few of those pics are from her class including the open Lotus thing and the Challenge Stradalle Ferrari.
  16. Gotta agree with the comments already posted. Drive a few and compare the cars. A genuine low k car will drive like a low k car. There is no reason why you should hear clunks, heaps of rattles etc etc. My 32 has less than 60000k's with books and it drives like it. Smooth gearbox, and virtually zero rattles. Pretty much like a new car.
  17. Went out this morning for a looksy and have now officially added Dutton to my 2 year plan! The event looks awesome. Caught up with Jess (she saw my SAU jacket) and had a quick chat. Gotta say she seemed like she was really enjoying it. And why wouldn't you be. Here's a couple of pics from 1 of events. Unfortunately started to rain so got out of there and didn't see the skidpan groups. Some of Jess Let me know if you want the rest of the sequence after those last 3 :-) And the others
  18. God damit! Can't do it. My exhaust only arrived today so haven't had the tune done. As much as i would love to, the car hasn't been checked in any way since arriving so don't want to risk anything. Can't even try and rush it tomorrow as have a nephews 1st B'day to go to.
  19. Hey Guys, Do you have anything with detailed info on 1992 R32 N1's? I'm trying to gather as much info as possible, especially stock specs of car. cheers Bobby
  20. Fox, He was last logged on yesterday ~ 8pm ish so should hopefully see this soon. Cheers
  21. wow, had my heart set on the G37 Sedan, but I think I may need to rethink that now.
  22. Woo hoo, free entry Jase for picking it???
  23. Boz, I was thinking the same thing re Subaru. i have a friend very high up in the chain who looks after cars coming in and he also knew nothing about it. However if it were me, i would be bringing them in from Japan as track only cars and avoid all the taxes etc which is why i decided that my mate not knowing wasn't enough reason to doubt it :-)
  24. Guys, I just spoke to Peter and as I thought he defintely no longer owns the shop in QLD. He does sell them to someone up there who then on sells, but he believes naturally they would be more expensive than getting them from him. (Transport and margin being on top of course) I can get the shop in QLD's details if you like Michael, but it'll probably tomorrow as Peter wasn't in the office.
