  1. Thanks mate, it was all the good words about them that i have heard which pushed me to them. And with out doubt the most pleasant dealings I have ever had with a workshop. All up cost wise was Nistune ECU - $350 Tune $450
  2. Sorry to hijack, but how much richer? I had my GTR tuned for the first time last week, and below are the results. The car spends 25/30 days per month in the garage, but will be doing some track days in it.
  3. Hey Guys, Some pics from Oran Park last weekend a mate directed me to on ten-tenths.
  4. Boz, How noob friendly are these days? I wouldn't mind doing it, but don't really want to be spending the day moving out of the way. Especially if the majority of cars are as fast as you've said. Cheers Bobby
  5. If you're looking for longer lasting, alot of people recommend (including me :-)) Zaino. Most applications are expected to last 6-9 months. I've used it on a couple of cars but unfortunately none that I've had for over 6 months. But it was fine through those 6 months. And as you've said, it's a synthetic product not a carnauba.
  6. I've had Enkei before which have bent after a nice hit on a timber i didn't see, but have also never had a prob with a few different sets of Forged Rays. Unless your smacking into large potholes I'd be surprised to see a forged rim "bend" out of shape. Another option is don't go for ridiculously thin tyres.
  7. Just spotted Ryan on the M7 with the car on a trailer. Looks stunning mate. Good luck.
  8. Love your work Paul! I was reading that thread yesterday and it frustrated me to tears. Not because I'm a GMS fanboy (well i am but that's besides the point) but how every response was shot down with "I've seen it happen" and now we find out that it was a GMS built car and that's it. I'm not saying one is better than the other, but if people are gonna throw out it was beaten by 7 secs FFS i would expect both the Jap and Aus cars to be run by their respective teams, not some folks who happen to buy the cars.
  9. This is not the time for truth!
  10. For anyone considering the Nistune, just got mine done and love it! As everyone else i was tossing up between this and a power FC. Spoke to my tuner who said there is absolutely no reason not to use a Nistune and it's more than capable for some very high power levels. All up for me costs were $750 including 4-5hrs tuning and I''m rapped with the results. Tuner had no probs whatsoever with it, and my N1 is now putting out 276.5 rwkw on 16psi, with a bosst controller, pods and exhaust.
  11. Good luck guys, hope you have a ball, and you all officially suck cause I'm not going! Michele, You need go go gadget suspension!
  12. Not Really a turbo upgrade cause it's how the car came. But is an upgrade over a standard 32 GTR 1992 R32 N1 GTR M's Pods Unknown Brand Front Mount cooler Veilside Exhaust Greddy Profec B II Boost Controller Nistune ECU 16PSI - 276.5 rwkw. Did it quite comfortably but the stock AFM's were maxing out. Very smooth power curve, peak power coming on at around 7000rpm. No idea if the turbo's are N1's or whats inside the motor. Will try and post up the dyno graph tonight. Cheers Bobby
  13. Haha, Got some good pics from another angles Jess, keep forgetting to post them up. will try to do it tonight.
  14. Awesome Mark. Without doubt one of the nicest wheels you can get for a V35. Completely agree about the sways as well. Had Nismo's on mine when i had it and it's like a different car!
  15. haha,he came past on Monday and he was just rolling up my street trying to keep it quiet and i honestly thought we were under attack. Charlie's car sounds unbelievable!!!
  16. :-) Second person asking how loud is it. It's definitely not a quiet exhaust, but i wouldn't call it defening. My last car with an exhaust was a V35 with Fujitsubo exhaust, and compared to that it's definitely louder. So to me i wouldn't mind something quieter. And Yep I'll post at buyers expense. Cheers
  17. Hey Guys, Just got this, but didn't realise it was a 4inch system (was told by installer) and it's probably a bit big for my needs. Not really desperate to sell it, but happy to take offers. $450ono Cheers
  18. lol @ face palm! Either way, I somehow can't see it making me rich anytime soon.
  19. I've seen on a few US sites lately that alot of people are happy with STRI guages. Here's the japanese site, but do a google search and you'll see some demo's. I'll more than likely go with these. http://www.stri.jp/
  20. V-spec, shmee spec C'mon Chubbs, they're for the common folk. N1 - only 228 made and one of only a handful street registered in the country
  21. lol to everyone, and Tez, a truer statement has not been said on these forums!
  22. Yes there is!! Wife came home home once when I had an SS Commodore, parked in the garage, jumped out, somehow locked it, dropped her bag inside, went back into the garage to find our 2 smiling boys, (both under 3) locked in the car while it was running. Funny faces at the window kept them distracted for about 30 secs, and then it was scream time. Try telling a screaming 3 year old to unlock the door! Now THATS annoying :-)
  23. If you remember Matt, drop me a PM a few days before. Don't know about being faster though, haven't been on the track since the SAU day earlier this year and that was in a V35. It'll be my first time out in the GTR :-)
  24. Hey Guys, Did a search but couldn't come up with much. A few people have recommneded stock original GTR metal cats to me. Does anyone know how they compare to say a ceramic high flow Catco jobbie? Obvioulsy metal is the preference but not sure if the stock GTR cats would flow more than a "high flow". Be it ceramic or not. Any help is appreciated.
