  1. Ando, did they say how many spots left?
  2. Awesome day guys, thanks to the organisers. +1 on the sunburnt right arm :-)
  3. If there in mint condition I'll take em, but can you confirm diameter first? Send me a PM with location and we'll organise a time for pick up. Do you have any pics? Cheers Bobby
  4. Nope, just big boned :-)
  5. Just like a whale riding a wave into shore! **Note to self** Stop trash talking when you know even a stock datto 1600 will probably hand you your a$$
  6. Bakes, I'd take them but I doubt they can fit on my M's pipes. If no-one snaps them up, bring them along an we'll see :-)
  7. Good concept, but just don't understand why these thing are always tailored to the mega rich? Yes you need to be quite wealthy to throw $10k+ on a weekend of motorsport. Thing is that most people willing to do that, already compete in some form of motorsport so they wouldn't be overlly attracted to this. Why not, organise the event so as you would charge half the price, and get double the entrants?? Could be wrong though
  8. Ok, going off this I am definitely SV - Over 3000 Unless I can argue that larger Brembo's and discs are a safety feature :-) http://www.cams.com.au/downloads/NSW/2194.pdf Not really fussed though - not going to win, more for the fun of it.
  9. Silly question time - do exhausts and pod filters put me in type 2? Or by limited mods to they mean "proper" limited mods?
  10. yep, Also body received bonnet lip spoiler, boot lip spoiler and i believe side skirts 91-92 N1's had standard brakes, where as 93-94 N1's were based on V-specs so also had Brembo's. I've been told no clear coat on paint as well. Some say to save weight, other say cause they pretty much repainted by race teams straightaway, there was no need for it.
  11. Have used Stateroads twice with no probs.
  12. I've bought a couple of cars from interstate, and before i book flights have used these guys, and have been pretty happy. You can also ask them to check whatever you like as additional, e.g I got a full compression test done on the GTR. http://www.stateroads.com.au/ The reports is pretty comprehensive, and you can request pics as well. So far in both cars, I am yet to pick up anything which they didn't.
  13. I'm going to be cutting it close, but still in at this stage. I might drop them an email and see if I can book it and if the car is not ready get a refund or sell my spot. Oil cooler is in, but leaking when under load. Need to sort out an exhaust in the next week or so, and tune will be begining November. Hopefully a visit to Wakey mid Nov and if all ok - Woo Hoo!
  14. Hey mate, Sent you a PM last week re the exhaust. Is it still for sale? Cheers
  15. fremeer, Welcome to the forums. Your questions have been asked and discussed many times, please do a search for quick answers. Closed.
  16. That car has been for sale for a while. Very first thing i would do is get the VIN and make sure it is a genuine V-Spec. The thing you also need to keep in mind, is weather it's right ot not, alot of people look for the more limited versions of a car when it comes to buying, and a V-spec is definitely more limited. Something to note ehen it comes time to re-sell. Cheers
  17. Guys, Closing this as the cruise has been stickied. Let me know if anyone wants this re-opened. Cheers Bobby
  18. For all those people looking and asking about importing, this car is a perfect example of why you should look in Oz. Check through these forums and you'll find Waz is probably the most fussiest of owners on here. Good luck mate, stunning example.
  19. Hi Mark, Has been discussed in the past. Please do a search before posting new topics. Cheers Bobby http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Tw...ml&hl=turbo
  20. I know a guy who does a lot of Xenon Projector, retro fits on bikes in Sydney. Happy to pass on his details if anyone's interested. He was going to do my V35 but I sold the car.
  21. Thanks Ando, Not having long runs was why i was thinking it should be ok. +1 for not pushing to the limit. More than anything I want to drive Bathurst at a quicker than normal speed limit pace. That's about it. No track records from me :-) The tires I have atm are Yokohama DNA GP, heaps of tread and handle pretty well.
  22. Chubbs, and those who have been, does anyone attempt this on street rubber? The car looks like it should be ready, oil cooler and boost controller tomorrow, with tune next week but now thinking it might be put off till next year, cause there's no way I'll get semis in time (funds and actual time)
  23. Good stuff. Will do
  24. No worries, It's funny though that you simply replace the same parts. I'd be a bit worried about it doing the same thing again. Unless they're now using different bearings or something.
