  1. Yep, TSB is Technical Service Bulletin Here's the clicky issue from a 350Z site http://www.350z-tech.com/zwiki/TSB_04-065_..._From_Rear_Axle
  2. Nope, but either are most mods. My biggest worry with spacers is, God forbid should anything ever happen, I would say it gives the Insurance guys a very easy out. BLISTIC - Stunning!
  3. The offsets are for a GTR, but saying that you should be able to fit them depending on how low you are, and you will probably need to do some work on the guards. Also personally i think V35's look better with a staggered wheel, deep at the back not so deep (but still deep) at the front. The offset also is not the big issues, cause +18's i think are fine, but the 10inch front will cause you probs. You may also go fro a VERY stretched tire, but again it may cause probs. I had +22 9 inch fronts with no probs at all on my coupe.
  4. Most mechanics should be able to do it. Best bet is to jump on a 350z or G35 site or look up Nissan USA TSB's for the 350z or G35 and you should be able to pull up a complete workshop process including all the parts needed. From there most ha;f idea mechanics should be able to do it. Or there's always your local Nissan place, just don't expect them to know what a TSB is :-)
  5. lol, I wish Hamilton all the sucess of the Cronulla Sharks. Nothing would make me happier than watching him race for another 20 years and never win a tittle!!!! Watching Massa turn him round, was the highlight of the race for me. not because I love Massa, but because someone finally gave some back to the fu(ker!
  6. I've had a Lakeshore and a Black, and if i had my time again, colour wise i would go White. The black was gorgeous but very hard to keep clean. The Lakeshore was stunning in the sun, but looked more boring than watching paint dry on a cloudy day. White to me makes the V35 look much more flowing and tougher. I'm kind of into white at the moment so that maybe it :-)
  7. Here you go mate. http://www.kameariengineworks.co.jp/CONTENTS.htm Not cheap, but damn some nice parts. I let mine go for somewhere around the $1k mark, but it was nothing to brag about.
  8. Translate this site in google and it's a classic skyline owners wet dream. Was looking for several parts for when I had my C210 but sold the car in the end. Fenders, Front lips, seats. You name it, they have it. Oh, but be prepared to mortgage the house! http://www.kameariengineworks.co.jp/CONTENTS.htm
  9. I'm kinda conflicted. I've always been a Skaify fan but really like the way Lowndes has been going as well. Either one of those two would be great. Actually looking forward to it cause i haven't watched a race in years. Was revving myself up last night with a few hours of the 91 and 92 race. Damn those GTR's sounded great.
  10. I'd be careful with cutting compounds cause it may scratch the glass. You can get different grade clay bars and as long as you use enough lubrications (soapy water) you should be fine.
  11. Yeah there was a couple of guys in the UK who had new ones, but were not parting with them for anything. It was basically the next step up from N1, but not sure it was the full race block as used when Nissan were racing RB26's.
  12. Try a clay bar which lifts blemishes off paint. I've used one on glass with no probs before.
  13. Not sure what you mean Mark, but generally anything can be cleaned off a window with a razor blade :-)
  14. Damn Steve, Your making me regret selling my C210 a few years back! Was a two door auto, and had big plans for it, but was in the midst if building a house and sold it in the end. This is what i was aiming for though. Especially the black one! I found an awesome shop in japan for things like front spoilers and wheel arch flares as well. I'll see if can dig up the link.
  15. The joys of having an N1. I have no boot trim Though the foam should be facing down, and the handle to lift the wooden panel itself should be closest to you, not the back seats. Once you have done that, it can only sit one way, and if it doesn't there's somehing else in the way.
  16. Another thing to remember guys is that the Aus $ has been absolutely smashed in the last couple of weeks, so just double check your limits and what this equates to in yen. It will be much less than a month ago.
  17. Nope the GT500 block was and i think still is available from Nissan pretty rare and very expensive. If i remember correctly somewhere around the 9000 pounds mark.
  18. Yep, RRR
  19. I really really really want to do this, and as long as i get at least one track day in before it, then I'll pretty much be in.
  20. It kinda seems that way for V35's. I bought my last one from Queensland ( I'm in syd) and then sold it to a guy who flew over from WA, Perth to buy it. :-)
  21. Give Toyo a bell :-) http://www.motorauthority.com/toyo-tires-b...-r-to-sema.html "Toyo Tires will be featuring a special Nissan GT-R, shod in a set of 20-inch Proxes R888 racing tires - the first set of the gigantic race tires from Toyo."
  22. I used J-Spec for my first V35 and was very happy with the service. Criag was extremely helpful and very patient. I'm the kind of customer that wanted the best value car for my money and i wanted it yesterday :-) The car came in exactly as described, without a hitch in the whole process. However, my second V35 I bought locally in Australia. I think you'll find there are a lot of nice bargains about the place if you do a bit of a search. There's a few very nice examples up for sale in teh For Sale section, and the bonus is that you get to test drive the car and have it inspected as much as you like. At the end of the day, if your going for a very unique colour/combo that you can't find here then import, if your going to save thousands then import, if what you want is local and it's only a grand or so more expensive than importing, then i would stay local :-) Again i was very very happy with J-Spec, and if needed would use them again, but personally nothing beats paying for a car and driving it home the same day. Cheers Bobby
  23. Thanks Deren and Dunc, Appreciate it guys. Found it odd at first cause they were small droplets on the floor but very very sticky.
  24. Depends if the V35 has brembo's, but that aside, They'll look extremely tucked in the guards. My TE37's were a +22 offset, and some guys use as low as +15. Gorgeous wheels, and they do make them in V35 sizes, but they have a lot more dish if i remember correctly.
