  1. The problems is though that SK packages were tweaked to suit the 32 GTR. Not just off the shelf products. "Apparantly"
  2. Adds variable valve timing to engine's which don't have it
  3. Funny, "the new skylines are just not skylines", but a GTR which isn't a Skyline anymore is a Skyline? Oh, and please be a little more respectful. You are in a V35 section and calling them all "garbage" is not really polite. A simple, nope sorry don't like em, would have been fine.
  4. The genuine 2500R that was stickered up and put together here is Aus :-) Stunning car, but.......
  5. Here's a couple of pics of a blue 400R
  6. Nah, I've seen them in midnight blue and black as well
  7. For one a stock engine with 400hp :-) I think the engine is actually called an RB-X or something. That and you would've paid around $250000 for it :-)
  8. Hey guys, Was speaking to a mate who believes that he's seen pics of a genuine 400R in Australia from years ago. This morning he brought in an old fast fours mag from i think the year 2000, and there's a small piece in it about a track day, where it says that there was a genuine 400R in attendance. Does anyone know if there is actually one in the country? Cheers Bobby
  9. Cool, let me know mate. My understanding is that we'll be driving the track all day, as per the "driver training" but the actual "battle" they're referring to is only for show.
  10. So is anyone from SAU doing either day? I'm really starting to go through track withdrawal and need a fix!
  11. Mate do you have the standard "Twin Turbo" pipe?
  12. Marcus, Ill take the twin turbo pipe, as long as postage to syd is not crazy. please pm me full price, Cheers Bobby
  13. Have heard nothing but good things about Sash at Wicked Ink. Only prob is you need to book the fu(ker months in advance.
  14. cost is dependant on what you want. The last inspection i think was around the $300 mark and included compression test and a few other things. I also paid around $450 for a V35 inspection on a car i bought from Qld, but that was very thorough cause i would rather spend the money checking up front before buying plane tickets etc. the best part, is on either car i didn't find one thing after purchase that wasn't on the report.
  15. I've used www.stateroads.com.au for a couple of inspections around the country. Very pleased with the reports. Will also do extra's such as compression tests, leak down tests etc etc on negotiation.
  16. Guys, No bad mouthing/negative comments of any workshops. It's against forum rules, and warnings ill be issued. Seen to many of these topics turn to sh!t
  17. As long as I'm not driving behind you! The way your GTR sat, sounded and launched out of corners on the putty rd cruise makes me want to do very bad things to my mortgage.
  18. I'm in!
  19. You need to be under the car. Left hand side(passenger) I believe near the rear engine mount.
  20. Brembo's - 91/92 N1's came with standard calipers - As far as i know 24U v 05U - I'm yet to see any conclussive evidence that ALL N1's have 24U. I was actually told that the earlier models were stamped just the same as standard GTR's. Mine for example is 05U. I've had the car inspected by numerous mechanics and not 1 of them said that there is any evidence that the engine has been swapped(inspecting mounts etc). It's also a very low k's car with log books and service record. Not that that's 100% conclusive. There's a guy in the UK which is currently writing a "mini" book on N1's which I'm helping sort of with. He's got a few contacts and is sending me a copy as soon as it's done.
  21. $1500 is unbelieveably attractive. and within reach for a lot of people. Keeping a close eye on this one!
  22. Sorry don't have fast to check it, but when it comes back the model number needs to have a "ZN" in it. Mine is KBNR32RXFSZN Some other quick checks N1's don't have ABS No boot carpets Plastice bonnet lip, and rear boot lid lip (under the standard spoiler Of course all these can be added/removed, so VIN number is best.
  23. haha, Yeah i love it mate!. The worst part is collecting all the cars afterwards! Pretty much have the whole lot now (for the boys of course) and has run well into a fair few hundred $$'s.
  24. Hey Matt, Can you get me the pic? Anyone else?
