  2. those clown heads freak me out Anyway have a good day dave, see you at the skidpan!
  3. Our cat would sleep on the roof of my old car, was watchin tv one morning hear the dog goin all spaz, went on for about 15 mins so went downstairs to see what the dumb mutt was goin on about to find the cat on the roof of the car, and our big dog (would have been about 2ft tall on all fours) on the bonnet of my car biting, pushing and generally being a bastard to the cat. First thing i do is go mental at the dog, causing him to panic, try to run off but looses traction on my freshly waxed paint scratching the shit out of it.... lol i chased the bastard around the yard for 30 mins trying to punish him Bonnets paint was farked after that
  4. reminds me of those japanese gtr police cars ....
  5. why not approach someone to custom make some?? The design looks quite simple... i'd be in on above mentioned group buy
  6. would this work with a s1 gts?? If i could pick it up for under 300 i'd be pretty interested (via yahoo auctions i mean)
  7. sounds like a happy ending then, maybe this will scare the guy to get some insurance now
  8. Did you google that model number (YEFX9991956)?? All i could find was this yahoo jp auction page http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=e...cial_s%26sa%3DG This is the interesting bit; Appraisal: 非常に良い Evaluator: Tom19641129 (276 Panasonic TV tuner YEFX 9991956 medieval times (end day and time: December 11th of 2005 o'clock of 22 38 minutes) Comment : The extent which is surprised, quick * polite communication * payment thank you. It is very splendid successful bidder. And from heart you enjoy that it has the edge. Thank you very. (Appraisal day and time: December 11th of 2005 o'clock of 23 23 minutes) Soo i'm guessing you're the proud owner of a medieval (ie: ancient by jap standards) tv tuner... hence the massive size and shitloads of wires, and wierd plugs that you dont see very commonly. Beyond this info (which you already guessed) i cant be much help.. Oh and i think the aerials would be the other way round- the rabbit ears for the tuner, the little pod thing for the gps..
  9. i had this problem with my last car. Thought for ages about the best way to do it and came up with the idea of thin mdf sheet (<5mm) cut to the shape of the door trim insert but maybe 3mm or so bigger all round. Put some bolts in so they fit pretty much flush with the mdf (and use glue/bog or something to hold them in place) To this add a thin foam underlay, then stretch and staple/contact glue vinyl around it. Then drill a few holes in the existing door trim, for the threads of the bolts to go thru, and screw the nuts on from behind the trim. Would have looked ok if i'd spent more time on it, ended up just using a sheet of vinyl to cover the whole door trim cos that way the standard trim was totally intact underneath and i could go back at any stage if it looked ghey.. heres a pic:
  10. Hey cy, I'll be working in gladstone from the 13-27 march.. stop by and have a chat if your'e sick of driving by then, i'll be bored as up there (probably watching cable in my motel room cos i'm on call).

  12. fibreglass then?? you can get metal reinfornced type..
  13. think you hit the nail on the head there... more money to be made in resort style livin than reopening a racetrack thats only going to decrease property value in the area
  14. why dont you just bog them up??? holes wont be that big
  15. just get one of them- piss the holden boys off lol
  16. lol there ya go mate just go debadge mud's car while hes sleeping, i'm sure he wont mind
  17. damn that sucks dude. So you had a $1G alarm and it still got stolen? Do you have spare keys in your house (maybe they broke in to the house and used the spares to get to the car) otherwise looks like you've been targeted by some pros, in which case theres not alot of chace they just stole it to go for a joyride Go ask your neighbours if they heard/saw anything. If you're lucky to live near any businesses ask if they have CCTV footage that might show them driving off in your car. Hope yours is a happy ending mate
