  1. he didnt put a 26 in, hes still running a de+t with a big ass garrett turbo and pulling 270-280~ rwkw.
  2. there was an air filter test done a few years back by auto salon magazine, do a search for it. results will help you decide what pod you should get and get an enclosed box from justjap to box it to keep it cool and legal. run a 3-4" aircon ducting pipe from front bar to underneath the pod to directly feed air to it.

Lol @ comparing results and claiming better response from FFP but infact it was from the fuel. please dont provide misleading information. its a known fact that stock plenums have better response however reducing the length of the cooler pipe will help also. best way is to remove the standard crossover pipe and custom make a cooler pipe straight from TB to underneath battery tray like so

  10. PJ is a good bloke and im happy with my high flows. hanaldo; how much did you pay for them?
  11. the federal tyres are actually chunkier so their 235/40 (for example) will actually be pretty close to the next size up. Compare the section widths with other tyre brands and you will see what i mean so bare this in mind when buying the feddys.
  12. simon uses siemen deka injectors, the 3/4 length 60lb injectors are a direct fit but will just need to rewire new plugs. you can get this from the states the cheapest. im runing 600cc high flows and havent had any fuel or tune issues. currently making 245rwkw and soon to be 300. speak to PJ on this forum, i got them down thru him.

  15. nice gtr mate. is it standard that you dont need a helmet to drive on the ring on a normal day non race day? also are you still running the stock blow off valves or are they aftermarket?
  16. closer fit if u get a r34 exhaust, fitment is very similar except for 1 or 2 hangers
  17. Bump,$60 + plus post for cam/timing belt cover backing plate is sold.

  20. Looking at buying these nismo turbos but received the pics and noticed the crack in the centre of the comp wheel near the shaft on one turbo. Does this mean the turbos fkd and the wheel will explode when run at high rpm? Looks like it will be out of balance. Apparently the owner had it checked out by MTQ turbo systems in wetherill park, sydney and they confirmed that its normal and they do that as to evenly balance the turbo wheel however I have never seen any gtr turbos balanced like this and the other turbo he has does not have this issue. Is this guy just messing with me or is what MTQ say is true? Any input much appreciated.

Budget setup cant go wrong with a kinugawa td06sl2 20 or 25g $850 ebay s/s high mount manifold $220 40mm or bigger ext gate $300 Walbro fuel pump $130 Deustchwoeks injectors (or highflows) $450 Z32 $200 Nistune $1000 Fmic kit $400 Rough prices on parts but that will basically get u to 300rwkw. You do not need a hks fuel rail.

  23. Swap block out for a second hand good cond 33 gtst det block - your choice to rebuild here if you want. (u may even be able to reuse ur old block if its got oil squirters for the pistons. If so just whack in det piston and rods, new bearings and headgasket and ur set.) You will need the complete det turbo and intake setup - turbo plus oil and water lines, exh manifold, dump n front pipes, intake pipe, air filter or airbox, fmic interooler kit, manaul bleed valve. Whack in a 33 gtst ecu or go pfc (again your option depends on budget) The difference in the de cams will give you abit of gains compared to det cams. Since youve got 50% more power, ur gonna need tp address.brakes so gtst brake setup and 5 stud conversion os on the cards. You will also need to put the power down so a gtst viscous lsd will be needed. Unless ur car was purchased fpr dirt cheap like 4k then itll be worth it to do the above, otherwise just sell and get an.original gtst as they are cheap these days.
