Artz, any updates on your car getting tuned? Just sold my twin turbo setup so will be jumping in a kando td06sl2-20g in jan. but looking forward to your tune results first as if it doesn't hit 280ish then I might have to go the 25g wheel or even t67. Would a 38mm gate be too small for the sl2-20g? If so, then would a 40mm or 44mm be the better choice?

Hi Guys, this is more of a E.O.I for a twin turbo setup for a RB25 and prefer to sell it as a whole kit to someone (may split if i can sell the manifolds/oil & water lines and spacer plates as they are rb25 specific) I have had this setup for over 1 year and it has run flawlessly. i don't wanna sell this setup but i will be selling the car soon and it will be easier to sell with a single turbo installed. it was tuned last December and made 245rwkw on a hot 28degree day @ 1.2bar boost without VCT. (so with VCT engaged, it should net more power & more response) i get full boost at 4200RPM on a RB25DET NEO (factory cams & cam gears) so not that laggy at all for that power. The power curve is very linear and comes on smoothly, it doesn't come in a big hit and snap your neck like a big single. with a set of -7s, -9s or GTSS turbos, this setup will make 300rwkw~ and you'll have a perfect street setup that doesn't smoke your tyres on boost. the induction and sound on boost makes it sound like a RB26DETT The kit consists of: - RB26DETT factory cast manifolds (flange modified to suit RB25 head) + spacer plate (comes with factory heat shields) - R34 GTR OEM turbos (approx 65,000KM), does not blow any white smoke on boost, very minimal shaft play - R33 GTR OEM Dump pipes (comes with factory heat shields) - HKS mild steel 3" front pipe (with flex pipe built in) - custom braided speedflow water lines - OEM RB26DETT oil lines - custom turbo oil returns - custom alloy intake pipes with twin Calibre air filters (Good condition, no rips or tears) - RB26DETT twin turbo intake pipe + custom cooler pipe with bov flange welded on (2.5") I will be willing to swap this for a single turbo kit TD06SL2-20G or larger + cash adjustment accordingly. i will require turbo, factory manifold, dump pipe, front pipe, oil + water lines, oil return. My car was tuned with a Haltech PS1000 ECU and ran a map sensor which is recommended. If you do not want to go down this path, you can figure a way to mount a Z32 AFM and go from there with your choice of ECU. Located in Sydney, 2166. Price: for the whole kit, i will take $1100 o.n.o (however As stated above, rather swap with someone for their single turbo kit) No issues posting interstate, please contact me for shipping costs. i looked around for hankook as well, they would be at least $300 or more per tyre in 18" and the sizes i need. will be cheaper to just buy from tirerack

just a quick question in relation to these big brake kits and rather then make a new topic, are D2/K-Sport all same quality? or is one better then the other. i remember reading a thread about a member having issues with his K-Sport brake kit. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/365787-k-sport-brake-review/ so kinda dont wanna experience this dilemma.

why did you go from ku31 to forceum? Lol call me crazy but i just put on 235/40/18 federal 595ss to replace my 1.5yr toyo proxes 4 and i am actually very suprised with both dry & wet grip. feels much more stable then the proxes ever did in the wet and dry grip feels about the same. it handles pretty darn good. i tracked with the proxes at wakefield and they weren't too bad for around 3-4 laps before having to let them cool so will be interesting to see how the feddys go. Federal 595SS 235/40/18 Dry: 7.5/10 Wet: 6.5/10 Price: $135ea fitted & balanced @ tyres for less, Fairfield NSW overall, not a bad tyre for $135 a pop fitted & balanced, the proxes 4 cost me $220 fitted & balanaced so i can definitely say these tyres are a good choice for the budget minded. Will try the kumhos KU31 when these wear out so will be interesting to see how they par up.

selling these as they dont clear the upper arm on the front of my 34. one of the best street tyres from bridgestone, excellent dry and wet grip slight scraping on outer edge but evenly worn and no camber wear and no punctures or repairs. located syd 2166, pick up only. price: $150 pm me your mob number for pics.

whats the specs on your front wheels? just leave them in, helps keep the chassis/guards clean as well. a little bit of scrubbing on the lining doesnt hurt, only when it scrubs on metal and starts chewing tyres then u got an issue lol my splash gaurds are still in, 18x9.5 +30 only sometimes scrubs on full lock.

most likely in but will pay in jan sometime, gotta see if the car will survive till then lol
