  1. connect up datalogit start the car click on read all click on settings 5 i think untick locked click on update done
  2. the highflow will make 250rwkw easily if you want to run 16psi all the time, dont fit a 10psi actuator and let your boost controller bleed the difference, you should fit a larger actuator say 14psi and let your controller bleed 2psi the bigger the difference between the actuator and the target boost you want, the harder your contrller has to work and the more difficult it would be to maintain stable control
  3. no dont bother with the fuel pressure reg, it's not required your AFR's are mega rich as it's the stock ECU trying to run as rich as possible on full load (it's designed to) and cruise around 12 AFR
  4. nope they are not compatible. you will need to go for a piggyback (apexi safc, greddy emanage) or a remap of the stock auto ecu (nistune, dr drift remap, toshi remap)
  5. what are you using to measure the AFR? is it a wideband gauge and wideband sensor? or normal guage and piggybacking off the ECU 02 signal? it's the stock ecu, its designed to do that, get a piggyback or standalone ECU and tune it correctly and the standard turbo isn't T28 and it isn't steel wheel
  6. yep as the others have said 0's on the hand controller for the maps is a locked powerfc tune. find a local tuner who has apexi fc commander pro or datalogit and unlock it (simple tick box) and away you go.
  7. with the amount of power you have, you should be able to destory him easily i would be confident in beating at 190awkw wrx in my 190rwkw GTST its all about how you drive and getting the power down. get good tyres, practice launching, run good pressure and get a good tune / decent setup i dont know what gearing is in the WRX but youll find 4.11's in the GTST make it accelerate pretty qiuckly, which is why a mild GTST can beat most cars on the street
  8. whats changed has it always done this or just recently
  9. from memory the scale is capped at 32678 so that would explain why you cant enter in sub 40k
  10. no one will bother reading it, format it properly
  11. even if it was free, why would you bother its like upgrading your 1.8ghz celeron to a 1.82ghz celeron sure its upgrade, but is it worth all the hassle and effort and time
  12. here here for work life balance! my boss tells me to go home at 4:30 which is ace, if i dont leave he asks why am i staying back and that i should go home in my old job if i left at 5:45 they would ask why and expect you to work till 6pm and you would end up getting home at like 7pm = ASS
  13. glad in on an unlimited quota/xfer hosting package the site has already xferred 1.2GB and its only been up a few days
  14. how long is left on your CPA? it would be a shame to ditch it if you only have a bit left even if you dont like, at least finish it if its only a bit left (a few months for example) and then do something different at least if your plan B fails you can go back to your CPA as you've now finished it
  15. you may find it will be sluggish / doughy on gearchange youll find your tuner has accounted for the missing air in the tune (when running atmo and close the throttle body) and you may find that will be dougy/sluggish on gearchange/close throttle body. this is because your tuner has accounted for the air being vented out of the system. and depending on where your map sensor is placed how it may impact the tune. i would expect some affect going from a tune based on vent to atmo setup vs recirc as now you "extra" air in the intake system which wasn't originally planned for
  16. yeah it looks the same as the normal FCC3 hand controller, just EL instead of backlit LCD im yet to see one working in the flesh, the one on the demo video is just a screen loop and not a real unit in operation
  17. Updated PFC FAQ -updated Apexi PowerFC Wikipedia articile and PDF Snapshot -updated Apexi PowerFC EL Hand controller and incuded video (thanks John)
  18. check the tyres tread indicator, wear indicator, temperate etc, its all public knowledge and should give you an insight into the tyre
  19. cooler air can cause detonation???????????????????? what on earth?????????????????????????? not a million years
  20. if you have access to datalogit you can edit the AFM RAMP (not visible on hand controller) to make any of the AFMs on your menu match the Q45 ramp set by apexi (takes about 2 minutes). but it is a shame they didnt program the GTR RB26 tune with Q45 on the stock menu. there is bugger all difference between BNR32/BCNR33 so why bother putting them as seperate options on the AFM menu
  21. hi tangles ive checked the VH41 / Q45 AFM ramp in the RB25DET powerfc and its not that much different to the Z32 the Q45 has a touch higher airflow values in the higher range, sub 3v but below that it's pretty close i would expect your car to idle with Q45 AFM's even if you can't select them, if anything it should be a bit grumpy and maybe blow a bit of smoke at the worst case. with my R33 GTST and stock AFM (s2 AFM) im able to choose VH41 / Q45 from my AFM menu while the engine is runing and it keeps idling, the idle drops a note but it continues to run correctly (i would expect it to). so i expect that something else is wrong, mangled wiring, incorect wiring, dead AFM etc you could check them both out at ETC, SENSOR SW CHECK and look at AF-1 and AF-2 they should be pretty close at key ON (but not start) and shouldnt have a black highlighted background on the sensor name
  22. here are all the required images i basically want them linked together in a single clickable window / app / interface it can be java, html, flash, anything as long as its on a webpage i dont care http://www.paulr33.com/downloads/hand_controller_images.zip
  23. yep thats it all i want is a working mock up of the hand controller then later on ill add in help text and english translation text and other junk but basically i want a clickable mock up hand controller to let you use it if it was a real one i want it for a learning tool for new users and also so that tuners can show owners how to do basic functions etc
  24. unsure on the costs behind it but HKS CAMP or HKS CAMP v2 is basically this a full MFD display which you run to your own TV unit in the car so you can choose the screen even a $150 ebay ching chong LCD display for your car would be prefect
