  1. just saw that lost birds GTR 33 looks a bit random not sure if i like it
  2. please be careful. you are trying to wire up a 02 guage to a narrow band 02 sensor (there are two on the GTR) the issue with the narrrow band ones is they are slow and narrow and are really only useful at stoich 14.7 AFR they are useless for anything else other than giving the stock ecu feeedback during closed loop so whilst your issue seems fundamental (wiring or dead sensor) once fixed please dont use this to tune the car its likely thre guage will just bounce around all over the place and never show anything meaningful that resembles AFRs or how it's tuned
  3. its probably because the HKS kit assumes stock AFM and ducting, the stock AFM's are 65mm vs the Z32s which are 80mm if you use the standard rubber intake piping you can apparently strech over the larger Z32 shell but if you are using HKS plastic / metal intake etc then this is probably not an option i know with the apexi power intake kit you have choice of 65mm or 80mm kit to suit GTR
  4. sau.garagespank.com dyno thingy was the old tool we used RPM = (SPEED / 28) * 1000 this assumes 4th gear with 4.11 diff gears so for BNR34 it should be dynoed in 5th gear, HR32,ECR33, BCNR33 all 4th gear
  5. agree the boost controller, hiflow cat, loud exhaust, pod kit, shiny cam gears with pretty colours etc will likely get you caught up fitting mods that go against EPA etc. once they identify these, then a full check might pick up different ECU, emissions out of whack, and so on. its unlikely they would pick OEM turbochargers vs upgraded replacement bolt-ons be sure to note the new garretts etc would likely be nice and shiny, vs original stockers with 100,000kms on them (dirt, oil etc on the compressor covers) so if you remove the heat shields / shroud etc it may be dead obvious even with replacement bolt ons i guess you could argu the stockers failed and you have to replace with garrett OEM's
  6. press UP when you press up under any monitor mode, it shows you the top score, ie peak for that value pressing UP on the knock display gives you the digital knock value, 60 flashes the engine check light
  7. life goes on, geez pick something more exciting
  8. covered to death, search on SMIC vs FMIC
  9. he can but you need to change the wiring HR32 will have 4 wires from memory and ECR33 S2 will have 3 wires check paulr33.skylinesaustralia.com for diagrams on wiring in a Z32 AFM it shows you the pin outs for the AFM basically on HR32 it will have power, ground, signal ground and signal on the ECR33 S2 it will have power, ground and signal you pair up the ground and signal ground and all is OK
  10. he broke the law life goes on go over to thailand and smuggle drugs and then go blah blah im a sports hero, let me off good luck
  11. he broke the law? what do you expect?
  12. This year the SAU VIC crew are at it again at the Autosalon display at the GP. 13. yeah have no real dire need for 1080p blah blah i just watch normal divx's download on cheap $50 dream speakers on a yamhaha stereo amp havent even botheredd with surround sound and opticla out etc
  14. you cant run djetro on ljetro PowerFC the ljetro PFC only works with airflow meters and nothing more an optional map sensor is available to be connected up as part of the boost control kit the djetro PFC only works with map sensors and nothing more you need to sell your PFC ljetro kit and AFMs and anything else then purchase the djetro PFC to suit BNR34 along with the djetro harness and a pair of map sensors (you must have two)
  15. still using WD HD Tv the first gen unit works great, no issues and love the simple interface and how it works only bug is no ethernet or wireless so just got two usb drives perm plugged in
  16. the part #'s are as follows Product Price SF-DIS-001 Nissan - Skyline - BNR32/HCR32/BCNR33/ECR33 Series 1 AU $ 471.05 SF-DIS-004 Nissan - Silvia - PS13/RPS13/S14 - SR20DET AU $ 511.14 SF-DIS-005 Nissan - Skyline - BNR34/ECR33 Series 2 1/95-5/98 AU $ 471.05 SF-DIS-007 Nissan - Silvia - S15 - SR20DET AU $ 376.22 SF-DIS-008 Nissan - Skyline - ER34/EN34 - RB25DE(T) AU $ 471.05 SF-DIS-009 Nissan - Fairlady - CZ32/GCZ32 - VG30DE/VG30DETT AU $ 565.89 so you want SF-DIS-005 no idea what 884 is
  17. the 02 sensor must be mounted in the correct orientation and as close to the exhaust outlets as possible, after the turbocharger look where your factory 02 sensors are and aim around there. be sure to note the specific installation instructions for the 02 sensor when you buy it wideband 02 sensors are very sensitive and can die easily if you just go ahead and install it and don't read it properly
  18. do you have the boost control kit? when the PFC is data init'd to defaults the boost kit is turned on by default this means, if yours was "reset" and you aren't using the boost kit the engine check light would remain on until you disable the boost control kit the PFC has no limp mode or back out mode other than what the stock ECU has and this is your typical if AFM is dead, cap rev limit at 2500rpm etc - really basic rev cuts and idle protection it wont know if your fuel pump is being gay or leaking fuel etc
  19. toast signal should be between 0 and 5v
  20. check what diff gears you have - auto's usually run different vs manual, manual will give you more lateral acceralation safc is a must for auto as you can't change ecu and are cost limited dont run mega big wheels sub 19s, smaller will give you better acceleration go for the SAFC and tune the pants off it it will make a big difference to how the car drives
  21. thursday eat a squirrel
  22. as per signature, covered in the PFC FAQ
  23. what ever is on the map is raw uncorrected value so water temp, air temp and boost can correct the real time injection, you can see it as Kij under SETTING, INJ/IGN ADJ, Kij from memory is the real time applied injection ive found the maps for INJ were in lambda and you simply leaned in/out depending on what came out at the rear. im not sure the software is setup well enough to dial in AFR on the map, and out comes AFR at the rear exhaust. the maps on the hand controller are in fuel correction value from memory, so its not an exact AFR. so it appears datalogti is trrying to emulate a "dial your own AFR"
  24. that guage doesnt look stock / OEM it loooks like a cheap knock off ive never seen a guage show +1 to -1 KPA like that are you sure its stock ?
