no matter what we tell you, you will keep going for the cheap turbocharger on ebay
so go for it
any turbocharger sub $600 is junk, lots of mangle work to make it fit, non ball bearing, oil cooled, custom everything to make it fit, poor response etc
stock is bulletproof, no need to change it, no gain and no advantage by changing, usually aftermarket ones are worse
if you want a loud noise, fit a pod filter and youll hear the bov on gearchange - ie the stock is loud with the right intake setup
a FMIC is a good idea
a SMIC is pointless for anything but standard everything
with more boost and an exahust the core is useless after one boost run
it will be heatsoaked and will not do anything useful
this means on the street the first run is ok as the core is cold
then after that its mega hot and remains hot due to a tiny core and its location (this is known as heatsoak)
so yes you can make 220rwkw with the SMIC
but put it on the street, thrash it
pull over and feel the core, i bet it burns your hands / too hot to touch (aka heatsoaked)
do the same with a FMIC and the hot side is hot, the cold side should be stone cold always
nengun.com has the loom as a seperate part (ie not in the whole kit)
and you can also buy the map sensor seperately
i did this on my r33 to get boost display on the hand controller without the boost control kit
49C-A002
Sensor harness 3P For Boost con 415-A001
AU $ 43.23
for wideband go for the techedge wb02 and get a bosch wideband 02 sensor - dont even bother using the stock 02 sensors, they are NOT suitable for A/F guages, dont even bother
should be around $250 ish
for EGT any reputable brand is good (hks, apexi, autometer) should be around $300 ish
both are expensive as they contain and use expensive sensor technology
it's toast dude, not worth fixing given that you can buy a stock ecu for $10 usually
find someone local in your state to loan you one for tomorrow
post in your local chapter offering free beer for a loan of a stock ecu
physically inspect the fuel pump
is it installed and mounted correctly onto the factory bracket on the roof of the fuel tank?
or it sloshing around in the fuel tank (common botched installation)
should take 5 minutes to check with a torch (no naked flames as tank is exposed)
you can open the tank from the top on the parcel shelf, square panel, 4 bolts
my BLT drive on my computer just went AWOL, and I've got a big project due tomorrow for Mr. Kawasaki - and if I don't get it in he's going to ask me to commit Harry Carry
a well known reputable manifold is sub $1200
the 6boost one's are $1200 ish
hks ones are $1200 ish
you expect a cheap knock off @ $400
to withstand 1000deg+ EGT's
hold the weight of your turbocharger
and for it to perform?
good luck
