like any car is prone to failure if its abused or not serviced properly etc its just a normal car dude, theres nothing special about them really change the oil, service normally etc and it will be fine theres no reason it should fail "out of the blue"

yeah youll have to double check everything if the buttons are lit up then it has local power where did you get the unit from? it could be toast if 2nd hand smell the unit etc see if its burnt / damaged the high idle could be if the AFM signal is cut from the main ecu or if TPS is unplugged you get high idle too

hang on which one is broken the one that gives the signal for the stock guage or the one that gives the signal for the ecu they are different sensors

it will suit any PFC that has the 3 pin kit socket on the side of the PFC those PFC"s with the 5 pin socket wont suit (ie: WRX is 5 pin). also to note new orders from apexi for the boost kit take at least 2 months - ie: from nengun/greenline etc apexi are very very slow on any map sensor / boost kit type work

if TPS is unplugged or toast the idle will jump up like you are seeing check the value of TPS in consult or check the physical plug

yeah if its just the run in it will be fine if you try and make 600HP it wont be

if your horsepower requirements are in the ballpark of 750h, as the injectors you are using suit that power then you can afford a real fuel pump, get a good fuel system setup, dont let it be the catalyst and kill your engine the std GTR pump is good for around 380HP ish. the rail is probably ok with those injectors

hi vandrel, why dont you get just go and get it tuned properly - then you wont need to guess and trial and error pay a local tuner a good $500 and have it done properly. lastly read the PFC FAQ under tuning and advanced operation it covers AFR tuning and IGN timing tuninig as well using the hand controller on the powerfc

get some pics of the front bar you want and speak to slidewize imports (their a trader on the forums here) zac could find it on yahoo japan auctions no problems but you would have to wait a few weeks for shipping (unless you want to pay expensive EMS) lastly try ebay or see if UAS.com.au in sydney have any suitable front bars
