  1. get a workshop to drill a bung in your dump pipe next to the factory 02 sensor bung then you just screw in the sensor and presto - exhaust temperature sensor its really only useful if you are tuning the car, as knowledge of EGT's can help in tuning strategies
  2. hey gang im looking for IT work, and a lot of you are in the IT industry so if you know of anything please let me know. i am looking for roles similar to IT manager, technology management, infrastructure management, IT team leader etc, along those lines. my previous role was it manager / technical manager for dodo internet Paul_Rivoli_Resume.pdf please pass this onto anyone in your company / hr if you think there might be a suitable role available
  3. i still gotta book a room

  5. 350 to 400kw is a good $20k exercise you will need around GT35R for around 350 to 400kw and it will be much more laggier than a std or hiflowed turbo a hiflow will get you to 250kw
  6. its basically an anti-lag box, as the name imlpies, takes away lag on launch it retards the timing off the planet at launch and provides spark cut launch control so the turbo is wound up heaps, thus you get "boost" at launch 1) is this harmful to the car in anyway?? if you have a cat it will fry it, if you have cermaic exhaust wheel, it will fry it 2) can u turn the Bee*R rev limter on and off or is it constantly running like that untill u remove it? yes it has an on/off feature 3) how much do one of these cost? maybe $300 tops ? 4) does this give "any" performance gain watsoever or is it just for the show off factor? it provides boost at launch rpm, if you get the power down without wheelspin it would provide good launches. i dont like your chances in rear wheel drive, but good luck
  7. youve blown one of the intercooler pipes off - check all of the clamps, and at a last resort, undo each of them and re-do them one by one
  8. welcome to 2003
  9. from memory its a slide hiflow - ask someone who has a stage 3 slide hiflow for pics - i think its the same
  10. get well - all the best
  11. again - why would you want two ecu's to perform one job? why not sell the haltech? or sell the PFC? both ECU's are capable of running the car and making everything work - the PFC is probably better at it
  12. yeah as troy said they colour match i went to a workshop in the city with a similar type of damage, they quoted $300 to repsray the small section but ended up spraying the whole bar cos they said it was easier, at the same price
  13. exhaust temperature mounted next to the factory 02 sensor - will be the closest thing to turbo temperature you can also get exhaust pressure - mounted in a similar spot to show backpressure
  14. my $ is on its location, if you weld it to the exhaust housing its probably your best bet, basically it seems when it opens, it cant divert enough back pressure, which results in unlimited boost
  15. hi, do you have money to burn? it sounds like it you would be mad to run two ecu's at once, what on earth for? to achieve what? just to get rid of the afm? do you understand all of the differences between afm and map ?
  16. hi, you should chat with Cubes about this, he has working RB26 PFC on the RB20 and has noticed some difference with the knock sensors send him a pm and hopefully he can clear it up
  17. put the car in gear and clutch pedal in, tap the accel, VCT should turn on VCT wont engage with the car in neutral for VCT to engage on the std ECU or the PFC the following must be true; RPM must be less than 4500rpm (default, adustable on PFC) NTR must not be active (must not be in neutral) TPS must be more than 0.0 (which is really around 0.33v ish) - ie; open the throttle a bit
  18. side step - whats the problem your trying to solve
  19. $300 for a cheap spray
  20. just have a power nap in someone's room for an hour or so before you leave shepp in the afternoon or even pull over and have a short sleep in the car, if your tired, its very easy to have a quick 15 minute sleep it will reivive you quiet a lot and clear away any drowsyness. there's no excuse really, just have a quick sleep welcome to have a quick sleep in my room in the afternoon if you want before you leave we go out for dinner around 6:30pm ish so you can sleep well until upto then
  21. yep powerfc is a good cheap upgrade, you can buy the unit new for about $1000 or 2nd hand around $900 ish even with the stock maps its better than the std ecu and you have far more control / options with the PFC even just adding more ign timing and using better fuel and tuning you can get some great gains/response with spending lots on a full tune
