  1. reset stock ecu if its still present use the idle adjust screw to increase the RPM a little this would be covered in the nissan sevice manual, there will be a section for troubleshooting idle specific issues and what RPM idle should and how to increase it etc. if you want it check out mininova.org under bit torrent, it might be in there

  4. nah i know about the screamer, thats obvious but even on idle and low load, the turbo is very audible anyway back on topic
  5. thanks to all those who helped and volunteered was good to have a break from the bbq, thanks to team bbq for running it hey west, your turbo is very audible, do you have like a straight though exhaust or something you can hear it whine and whilste away even at idle i got a bit sunburt on the face too

  10. yeah it looks like they did a bulk order when apexi announced their financial issues so just jap held onto them and trying to offload them a higher price, well its business afterall there are still a few on ebay these days, average price is around $1150 for one, so i see no need to pay $1599 for one

  13. i dont know anything about the subura pfc version but its possible the same logic/code is used do you know if you can apply the same fix scott used on the wrx to correct the misfire bug? its in the powerfc faq in my signature, have a look for "misfire" the official fix is there
  14. the best is the factory kit imho your car will never look as good as the product promo photos you are looking at in japan you wont be prepared to pay for the $$$ so youll just get cheap copies which wont line up, have gaps etc
  15. i wouldnt go past 300rwkw with a GTR pump for the cost of a new pump, why risk an expensive motor due to lack of fuel from a slow/tired pump

  17. set the entire row of P01 to 0ign timing if you want your car to pop and fart its ass off on gear change or deaccel
  18. i was being serious, it should be a dual stage voltage, i mean it makes sense why run the pump at full voltage when it only needs priming and low pressure
  19. tap the throttle, it should sound loud & normal
  20. speak to gcg.com.au and tell them how much power you want to make a 2.5 litre with a T3 flange setup
  21. a decent ball bearing turbocharger should be around $1500 to $2000 a decent manifold should be around $800 to $1000 a decent wastegate should be around $500+ so if your getting everything for $800 - it must be good

  24. i was unaware the stock ecu operated like this - can anyone confirm engine check light comes on with knock sensor unplugged on stock ecu ?
  25. well that would also yield a knock display of 0 and it would never change or increase this would be the same with a remap, the stock ecu would never see a knocking signal so it would never drop to the low octane map
