  1. This event will not run due to lack of interest.
  2. a few observations; the *** even though blank still have 0.00v on the R33 im pretty sure the *** ones have no voltage present The 02-1 is 3.88v ??? BOST is 0.01v - are u using boost kit? your AF-1 is 0.50, i assume its idle? damn thats low, mine sits at 1.1v on idle ill get a picture of mine tongiht and post it up. can someone with rb26 post them up?
  3. ive heard all the fuel myths and dont believe any of them myself. ive heard more than 50ks difference on a given brand xyz fuel rating (sounds like driver habits if anything). ive heard more or less engine and performance between 98 rated brands and so on. ive always used optimax and never had problems. ive tried the other brands as a bit of humour to try out some rumour and it all feels the same.
  4. simpsons did it, simpsons did it, simspsons did it see; http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...=107715&hl=kkr* http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...=115395&hl=kkr* http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...=115562&hl=kkr* http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...=109858&hl=kkr* http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...=101927&hl=kkr*
  5. a few things come to mind on howstuffworks.com map sensors compressors dog boxes synchromesh gearboxes anti lag rotary engine
  6. yes there aren't any. the reason why the air temp plugin didnt work is because under SENSOR SW for ECR33 PFC there is no IAT sensor reading 0.00 in fact there is no sensor called that all, so I suspect apexi removed that sensor/code logic from the ECU itself as the car had no factory air temp sensor. I believe (hopefully someone can confirm) that rb20det ap engineering in fact have IAT under SENSOR SW and they can simply tap an airtemp sensor on the Rb26 loom diagam (wire match method). Can someone with rb20 ap engineer post up their SENSOR SW ?
  7. throttle cable would be the only likely culprit i could think of. the throttle body would have to stay open for that scenario to have occured
  8. after realising that i've done the VCt testing wrong (thanks cubes) i picked an arbitrary rpm value and applied it. this time kickoff at 5500rpm. seat of pants it seems to be a bit more chunky in the top end and doesnt give a coming on max power and then jump into more max power past 4700rpm if that makes sense. it just seems to feel chunky the whole way. attached is latest datalogit tune as of tongiht, with AFR fix and 5500 VCT rename to .dat and open in datalogit for RB25 vct_fiddling.txt
  9. there are no pin outs. datalogit is an external device you plug into the hand controller port and it has its own 5v analog inputs for its logging mechanism. www.fc-datalogit.co.nz
  10. data dump from the dyno run
  11. AFR check tonight, i took a stab at the dark with the AFR values and was a bit too lean, a touch over 12.3ish so leaned it back to spot on 12.0 (see graph). Ill be leaving the tune as is for now, no more changes. I had a bit more detonation where I leaned it out back to 12 so took out 1 deg in that range to keep the knock to a consistent level
  12. err im a spastic, yeah 0.44 is spot on. sorry
  13. nah looking at my datalogs i see common near 0.33 0.35v at idle
  14. it should be near 0.33v at idle. im suprised the car is working with the sensor dead. it should be fixed
  15. with datalogit there is upto 5 analog 0 to 5v inputs. these inputs appear in the datalogit logs that it makes. you can't make them appear under SENSOR SW CHECK or under MONITOR
  16. Find the ones merli posted year ago or a bit more, his was FACKED
  17. the job ad would say
  18. my experiences with tuning are here; http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...ic=79377&st=260

  20. motec are looking for a system admin, sounds pretty good actually. almost tempting. its on seek for those interested. at their research centre in croydon. dyno on site among many other super cool tools i would imagine. there would be some sweet equipment there, im sure their IT stuff would be top notch
  21. the mines GTR doesnt have either, its likely to be a load of poo
  22. sure. he knows he can borrow it from me, but some people find it easier to tune on the hand controller, i do sometimes, depends on how much needs changing. you could try and see if anyone in for sale is selling the older style hand controller to suit 33 ?
  23. you should just buy one, it will make your life easier and will forever be sucky without having one. my datalogit is avaiable for loan if he wants to use it to tune your car. my hand controller wont suit as i have the newer version hand controller
  24. 6. AFR is not related to ecu type or model, its related to the tune and how the tuner has tuned it. pinging is usually related to much advanced ignition, but can be affected by running too lean also. 14.7 is ok for cruise and ideal but for max load and during boost build its too lean
  25. L fits me fine and im a fat bastard if thats any help in terms of body size
