  1. geez i question the credibility of some of these responses... how can anyone justify starting and driving immediately? its physically impossible for oil to magically jump from the sump to the top of the engine as soon as you start. there has to be a period of wear unless oil can reach it. surely there is advantage in leaving you car running for 1-2mins just to move some oil around then drive slowly as said previously... and if you worry about fuel consumption then 1) you're a pov 2) the way you drive determines your fuel usage not warming up / cooling down. the amount of fuel used at warm up is negligable... ...and the sensor for oil temp is located down near the sump so that is not always the best indication of oil movment (my oil pressure rises very quickly after starting) but this is only my 2c and you can do what you like...
  2. type M: different front bar 4 pot front brakes and 2 pot rear rear wiper (?) different steeing wheel suede seats but as everyone has said most things could be optioned in anyway
  3. i rekon supercharger for the street... mmmmmmmm low to mid range power..... *drools*
  4. i think gts26dett has fallen off the face of the earth!
  5. rob i totally agree with you then. if your turbo boosts over 13 psi then the stock one is completely useless i'm referring to the r32 really with my opinion where the gauge is above the tacho not where it is in the r33, and is withing easy glance whilst accelrating... and opinions is what makes these forums good. one person only has limited thoughts but collectively we possess great ideas and tips and tricks based initially on ones opinions. keep them flowing i say...!
  6. oh my god someone agreed with me! hey redlineGTR, lets jump on a new banwagon!
  7. you're advising people to go any buy a shitty boost gauge because the stock one is hard to read and in a bad spot??? i have done chemistry among other sciences and i know that 760mmHg = 1.0 bar = 14.3 psi so, 7 on the gauge is about 13.2psi and half-way on the gauge would be 6.56psi its not hard to see the gauge and if you use yuor maths correctly it can't be that hard to wind the boost up 2 or so psi and just keep an eye on the gauge. i feel that everyone has jumped on the banwagon of 'stock boostgauge is shit' and run with it... advice to ppl out there: don't believe everything you read (including my utter ramblinge here). go and make your own decisions...
  8. if speedo's and fuel guages and temperature gauges are accurate then what's to say the stock boost gauge ihas to be screwed like eveeryone keeps saying?? why will a $30 gauge from supercheap which screems cheap and inferior quality to me work better than a gauge which ws made by nissan? does not make sense to me... i can't see why upping the boost by 2 or so psi can't be observed on the stock gauge. please prove me wrong...
  9. yeah i recieved mine as well! looks the goods... thanks P1E great work!
  10. 35% darkest legal for me please...
  11. bumpety bump...
  12. i had a dog and his name was BINGO! its all up to the driver. if your first car is slow you won't know as you are getting used to acceleration and the characteristics of an engine. give yourself time to learn and get confidence before you buy a powerful car. i had an older supra, learnt in it, gave it a gool 'ol caining and spun it a couple of times, but never crashed. now i'm almost 21 and have had the line for 6 months and i think i can drive responsibly and can handle the power - but not back then. so in response to the thread i think an R31 non-turbo is a great first car allowing you to save for an r32gtst to get when you are ready... just my 2c
  13. that's SIR dave grohl to you coco... and my 32 has side indicators... don't they all???

  22. if its miniture just touch it up... if its major then you really HAVE to paint the entire panel to make it look stock. (panel doesn't mean the entire side of the car, maybe just the door, or just the front guard etc...) probably about $100 - 150 per panel
  23. hey pushead can you let us know the difference in rwkw the SAFC makes...
