  1. Hey Peter, My engine builder has built a few of these RB30DET's using the wiseco RB25DET pistons (K578M865) is the kit number. The last engine he built made 470hp@wheels with a GT30 turbo. To me it looks like they work -Dave-
  2. what size AR is on the GT30? .63/.82/1.06?
  3. yeh i'll bite my tongue on the boost comments how come the cruise is on a saturday ?
  4. Does an HR31 count as an acceptable skyline ?
  5. use them to help you to escape from the crimson room
  6. the safe combo was the easiest thing to crack for me!! haha
  7. i just clicked on the pillow on the bed lots and the steel rod fell out.. or else i clicked in a special area for the ppl who have completed it... reckon its possible to do that thing after the movie straight away and escape ?
  8. w00t done and done
  9. lift the pillow lots of times.... i'm watchin the dude dance
  10. oh man! stock cooler... i wouldnt bother. With my hi-flow i had so many over heating issues with my stock cooler!!! FMIC at the same time or before... or ASAP once you install it. makes a huge difference... i went from 47deg inlet temps to 25deg inlet temps! Turbo lag... hmm u can drive around casual just makin spool noise but not coming on boost, just goin all casual and quiet around the streets... but mash ya foot to the floor... 4000rpm and all hell breaks loose... i like the lag so i dont have to drive on boost all the time. as the car is daily driven. Personal preference really. The only time i kick myself is when i'm in the wrong gear and have 2000rpm before decent boost kicks in when having a "roll on"... problem solvered by dropping it back a gear... or 2 and away you go.
  11. Predator: It can chew that fone.. well try! its lasted many drunken nites in town... read: Dropped all over the place good old 3210 reliability I did want a 2530, but being a tight ass uni student didnt really allow for it. I previously had a hi-flowed R32 turbo and that sucked so much ass its not funny. Sure the car was powerful... compared to my old V8 Fairlane 500 (god bless it )... but it sucked none the less. As i see it. The 2530 sounds like a very nice turbo for an Rb20, but not having been in a car with one on it... i cannot comment. Tho i've seen some Rb25 owners not happy with 2530's due to their extra capacity.
  12. well assuming its on an RB20det right now and will bolt straight on... you will need to block the water feed (comes from inlet side around the back of the head via metal tubing) and water return in the block. Once that is done a tune would be very wise! Then once that is done you will notice a big grin on your face R32's are MUCH lighter than my car And with the power i got my car gets up and boogies all over the road on boost... well used to, brand new 255's have calmed that a fair bit. But cuz i bought my turbo from a guy who already had it on an R32 RB20, all i did was unbolt my stocker, plug up the water lines, bolt new turbo on, then drove around with the old tune for 2-3 weeks before i got it tuned. i did get the dump pipe modified to suit my car etc. Which you will need a custom dump pipe by the sounds of it
  13. not 100% on exh side AR... its the 8cm2 i am running at the moment. And i dunno where the post is, but i think it was by Steve, he showed a comparison table that related cm2 to AR Reason for selling: Building an RB30DET and this ----> is sitting next to me EDIT: 3" i think exhaust 600x270x55 FMIC EMS Dual Sport ECU stock!!! injectors 550hp fuel pump Stock fuel pressure Stock engine internals 2.25" intercooler piping
  14. i am pretty sure i got 300hp@wheels at the moment. I have a dyno here with 270hp@wheels on 15psi@5000rpm... 10psi@6000rpm... big Boost leak in the outlet pipe (was radiator hose, now silicone). So i assume with the same 15psi (or more) and 7150rpm rev limit i would see 300hp. *when i put silicone hose on after that dyno i hit, and ran, 18psi. Nothing else changed. Felt great EDIT: for Mindflux... thought i saw $1500 somewhere... musta been someone elses post my bad
  15. i think mine is rated at around 440hp, i think the 17c would be slightly less than that. Probably different sized housings. I am running the 8cm2 housing, also have a spare 10cm2 housing. I think the 10cm2 housing is equivalent to a .63 AR .... ? not 100% sure, i think Steve posted a comparison a while back. Oh yeah mine was converted to internal wastegate too. I think The TD06 is naturally an external wastegated turbo. But i noticed with the latest line up of TD06-20g's they have internal gated versions
  16. Yo Dude. I have a TD06-19c On my RB20DET, Its internal wastegated and bolts straight onto the stock manifold with a 10mm spacer plate (to avoid rubbing the block). They dont have water lines at all as they arent water cooled. You would wanna get the oil feed and oil return lines with it to save hassles. As for price that isnt too bad. I am selling my Td06-19c, dump pipe, silicone outlet pipe, braided oil feed, oil return, spacer plate, intake pipe etc etc complete bolt on kit for $1600 They are decent turbos. Tho you will have a bit of lag... its all fun and games once on boost my 255/40/17's manage to light up on boost
  17. yeh i am still waitin till i have the cash +extra till i order 100%, i'm still here Anyone else in on it ?
  18. i have a GT35R with the .82 housing that will be going on my rb30det once complete. Should be interesting from what i've heard and seen with VL turbo guys.
  19. How about HR31 Passages... Dont see many around. And just think that because there are so many R33's around, at least if u stack ya car you should be bale to get replacement parts easily.
  20. i am definate, dunno about other guy. If you are more serious, post this on performance forums and maybe SDU... maximum exposure, see whos interested in pistons.
  21. Yep i'm down for a set. I posted this on ozperformance (calais turbo) only 1 guy interested.. kinda. So yeah 1 more person and we'll be sweet.
  22. or you could get this set K578M865 to keep the thicker bore walls
  23. when you say 'flanged to' does that mean it can just bolt into the stock position. Would like to see a pic of the actual bov you are selling. If you can do that i'll take it when you do sell it.
  24. Hey Trev, I am still keen for a set of these. So come on guys. There is Number 1 right here... 2 more people needed. Dave
  25. after researching the GT30 GT35 series turbos i am baffled as to how this is classed as a GT35...
