  1. can i ask what the cause of the oil surge was? If it was launching hard what sort of power are you putting out? i am concerned because my car squats like a hoe and i dont want that to casue any oil starvation problems with increased power.

Well do you want the benefits of shorter pipe work? or Do you want neat and tidy wank appeal ? why does no one consider running the pipes in opposite directions if you want to keep the 'in between raditor/engine' tidy apporach? as in come out of turbo, behind raditor, thru intercooler, up thru stock postition, then into cross over pipe....
  3. power steering / air con pump? i had a metal grinding noise/fast ticking that i thought was my turbo grinding the housing... turned out to be the power steering needed more fluid.
  4. White R32 bought the turbo months ago i am buying the turbo off White R32 very soon. Intercooler.. who knows, i'll ask Brad on thursday for ya.

  7. Hmm i tend to agree with nexus9 there... I dont visit BC as much as i used to... i do not really like the content that is posted on that forum much anymore. I find SAU to be pretty professional and the wealth of information/knowledge that gets shared is incredible! This is definately one of the better forums i visit. *back on topic* Bring on another cruise! i wanna be there for it next time

  10. i saw a red 2 door hr31 and a silver aussie r31 on shand st... i as depressed from then cuz i was on my way to work instead of cruising
  11. joel, nah plugs are fine... i think its probably the cranking rate or something associated with the EMS. but cant seem to put my finger on it. 2-3 seconds is a long time when people are scoping your car and it doesnt kick over straight away Brissie ppl.... where do i go for my O2 sensor ?
  12. Yeh my RB20det 5spd has seen alot of 1st to 2nd high rev gear slams and it seems to love it no noises or anything from my box so i'm touching wood that it will hold up for a little while. it just gets a little touchy on the 3rd gear flat changes
  13. i just have little exhaust pops... no shaking etc also i have to crank for about 2-3 seconds to start my car. Possibly due to the EMS. Thats a bit strange.
  14. My fuel economy sucks ass!!! think i just bust 300k's to a 45L tank. I notice too that when my car idles, and the thermo's kick in (82deg water temp) there is a pop in the exhaust... any ideas why? Mase: Where abouts in Brissie did you score your O2 sensor? i might have a crack at that too.
  15. have you considered the reverse direction of piping? my piping goes like this: - out of turbo - between engine and radiator (as pictured) - down thru cooler - back up stock position - into cross over pipe. there fore the cooled air has less path to travel along to gain heat. The pictured design would gain heat as it comes out of the cooler going between raditaor and block. i know air is travelling fast and maybe affect the air tempt to a poof-teenth but it all ads up. just a thought.
  16. Well i kno Clint32 has the RB25det 5spd behind his RB20DET just the usual speedo cable, tailshaft and mounts need to be looked at.

  18. yeh 12.5 i think.. a purple car.. yeh not many piston cars... and that maroon stanza with sr20 running 10's!!! apparently the guy has only spent $5k worth of mods to it!
  19. yeh it doesnt really worry me. Just didnt think that its the best way to go racing. And some squid in his EFI RX3 who ran all motor. He had some crap coming out of his mouth. Why cant people just get along and race instead of baggin each other out! your NA prolly goes harder than my car BTW: i dont want to start crap either...
  20. how did you stuff it? since its an R32 GTR try and find a Power FC and plug straight in.
  21. yeh i like the mods you've done to your car. twin throttle bodies look nice. pretty quick for an NA RB30e !!! Some of those people who were crowded around you need to check their attitudes tho. Some of the comments they directed towards him and the car....

  23. Steve any suggestions to get the injectors out? like any solvents? or is it just alot of pulling and swearing ?
  24. give it a boot tonite and you'll be all over the road... mmm liquid horsepower to get the injectors out the plenum has to come off to give access to the fuel rail. Take that off... I *think* your gonna have to pull really hard to get the injectors out too. i will be replacing my injectors soon so might take photos to go with it.
  25. i want a front facing plenum for a few reasons: - throttle response - shorter pipe work - high mount my turbo (wank factor) 8) So if anyone can find decent front facing plenums that have been flow benched and work well... please send me some info -Dave-
