  1. yoke and tailshaft should be a problem... Hardie(sp?) Spicer seem to be the ones to contact... cross member, easy as... I was just concerned about the slave cylinder. If its a direct bolt on replacement for the rb20 one i am happy Cheers for the info RB20LagWagon
  2. Hey just wondering a few things. i have an HR31 import R31 that came factory fitted with an Rb20. I now have an R32 RB20det and R32 RB20det 5spd conversion in my car. My question is... if i was to get an RB25det 5spd box would would i need to change? Would i need the rb25 slave cylinder or would what i have suffice ? Cheers Dave

  4. Hey all.. i am after a decent bov that will be suited to ~20psi boost - ie turbosmart type 2 or 3 - or something worth while a rising rate malpassi fuel pressure regulator and cams to suit RB25DET and/ or cam gears
  5. how much HP can those clutches support? What would be a decent clutch to hold 450hp@wheels ? *not looking at a twin plate of expensive jap brand!*
  6. i just wanted to make sure i could take it to 7000rpm limit and not be shattering any oil pumps I would like to go forged rods but have heard melancholy stories about eagle rods and cannot afford 2k for carillio/argo's.
  7. what about a viscous-filled harmonic balancer? i had/have the option to go for eagle rods, but i have been told they are heavier than standard, altho stronger. prepped arb30 rods would be easier to source in the event of a breakage too i would imagine... and more cost effective
  8. hey guys, anyone looked into the safe RPM limit of an RB30? I have spoken to someone who said that anywhere over 6600rpm is asking for trouble. I was looking at using a 7000rpm limit, but was told i would be treading lightly on reliability. any info?

  12. I had a nissan Patrol clutch in my car and it held 300hp easily and had great bite.. and cheap
  13. for more info on GT35r/ GT3540's check out www.ozperformance.com VL turbo guys love the GT30-GT35 range.. a few cars there are doin 11's with these turbos.
  14. Nah negro... that was with the TD06... THe GT35 is sitting on my dressing table. Waiting on forgies to arrive, then the rb30 gets rebuilt... hopefully not too long now. Yeah i wanna be able to hand R32/33/34's their asses on a plate cuz after all... i'm just a SLO-31

  19. Hey all, I am just wondering a few things about these plenums.. a) Are they excactly the same? B) do you need an adapted for the throttlebody, or is it moulded onto the end? c) Does anything have to be changed at all?? (hose wises, fitting etc) d) can you use an RB20/RB25 throttle body? e) The GTiR pulsar throttle cable is needed? If anyone can answer those questions it would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Dave
