  1. Can anyone give me information, pro and con's about these three different types of Fuel Pressure Regualtors? Do they all do the same job as well as each other? The nismo item looks like the stock reg, but with a screw on top, where as the malpassi and sard are more solid, robust units. Would this affect their performance? I''m just a little confused with these products. Cheers Dave :headspin:
  2. cant you guys just get the new turbo engineer approved etc etc? or does it have something to do with only being able to do 2 induction mods or something? sucks to be you :upurs: go QLD!
  3. a garrett turbo. I think a GT2530 would run well on an RB25, but it may be on the smallish side. there is a GT35 for sale in he sale section for $1990... thats cheap... you'd just need a manifold or a spacer plate to fit it. But thats a serious turbo and will make 300rwkw easily. You just need a motor to support it tho. check out www.turbobygarrett.com and check their pdf file for different turbos etc.
  4. hmm i personally would leave the td05. I'd go for a TD06-20g or TD06-19c with a 10cm^2 housing at least on an rb25
  5. Malpassi Rising Rate Fuel Pressure Regulator has 2 fittings included, VGC $150
  6. Thanks for the info Bl4cK32 i actually was looking at horsepowerinabox this morning and that was sort of motivation to ask this question. I noticed they sell a complete kit but for $247. So i was wondering if thats an average price to pay, or if it can be done cheaper. I also want to guage pricing so i can get quotes from enzed and pirtek.
  7. Gday, In the near future i am going to have to get oil and water lines and fittings for my new setup and i have a few questions. I dont have any of the copper water feed/returns on my engine and i dont have any of the oil feed/return lines either. I'd like to know: 1) what sort of fittings i will need.. 2) aproximate length of hoses required... 3) type of hoses required... and 4) prices i should expect to pay I am also unsure where i get the water feed and return from. I take it the oil feed and return are all on the exhaust side of the motor. But i am using a greddy plenum and will be redoing all the hoses on the intake side so i dont know if i should run a water hose from say the water heater circuit, or can i tap into the block somewhere on the exhaust side to pull water from? any help would be appreciated Dave :headspin:
  8. now enemployed and hunting down IT jobs. in the mean time.. i play a mean xbox, guitar it up as if i am dave mustaine, and troll these forums like no other.
  9. can i ask how much matt charges for a tune ?
  10. yeah he might be from before your time.. he was like 16-17 and his old man bought an NA R34 which was for him or something.. as far as i remember it was NA
  11. Welcome to "Where are they now?" what ever happened to NEO-GT25 or whatever his name was? am i just completely retarded and he's on here as a new name?
  12. going by your SAU details you are 17. i am no angel on the road, nor am i an old wise man at 21. But i think a 300rwkw car with a 17 guy at the wheel could be a pretty wild mix, (re: Mines_Datsun) maybe just get used to the car for a while before you go building a monster motor. I'm not having a go at your driving abilities.. i am mearly thinking about what could/would have happened to me if i had a 300rwkw car when i was 17 ON TOPIC: 8.5 CR is as joel said, a nice compromise and will take a fair bit of boosting. get a rebuild done with forged pistons and if you can afford it, forged rods. Build it once, build it right. The advantage by doing it now is so you can always boost the crap out of it in the future. If i went down the path of building a monster motor straight up... i'd be driving it by now, but i spent alot of money of temporary go fast parts that could have been better spent on a new engine build. *one more thing.. can you type english and not sms style shortcut text ?? please
  13. i ran a 16.3 in a highly modified import R31 with an upgraded R32 heart in it... with 270+hp

  16. heh idel yeah well my vote is on 250hp. i woulda saved for a pfc instead of a safcII tho the real question is... is it more enjoyable to drive now after the mods
  17. with your mods i think 250hp is closer to the truth for sure. why did you go from a type II turbosmart bov to a GFB hyrbid?
  18. theres a place in Pickering St, Enogerra. A few mates have had radiator work done there... Dont know an exact name or number... its next door to Repco if you know the area.

  24. what will it feel like to drive an OS Giken twin plate clutch with solid centre disc's ?? i have been told that it will be heavy, but i will be able to slip it so i wont be chirping the wheels when taking off. But i have also been told it will be heavy and either on/off. And it will be a complete pain to take off as the wheels will chirp and it will be very rough... any comments?
  25. how much does the R200 long nose diff differ from the R32 gtst diff? I'd like to go a mechanical diff in my HR31 but dunno if 32/33 stuff will fit :S ?
