  3. i know you are a member and have been for a long time. i registered there a loong time ago too. I know there are the old skool members who stay together.. I am just sayin... it is a public website, and the opinions and views expressed by the minorty shine off onto the majority... ie 1 hoon makes the rest of the 'car enthusiasts' look bad. as for members these days... doesnt take much. I do know back in the day members were the close friends etc. bah never mind i am venting my disgust at what was said on that forum/topic
  4. my mate worked 4 shops up from this guy... after seeing comments made on boostcruising.. makes you think how *descriptive word here* that website really is... worried about 'their image' due to this unfortunate accident and his blatant disrespect for road rules and the law, but its ok for them to post and brag about 'fulli sikk dohrifto' on Mt Nebo for all to read.
  5. silly question... but is it getting fuel? have you put the fuel feed and return in the right way ?

  7. use a spanner straight up and down so it grips the bolt, then use a screw driver in the eyelet to turn it... thats how i got some of my bolts done up

  9. hey guys. I have an EMS ecu and i noticed that there is a setting for static ignition. my static ignition is set to 10deg. i was just wondering what is a good setting for an R32 RB20DET... as in good offboost/boost performance.. i thought something like 15deg was a common change ? thanks

  11. ermm GTR injectors are top feed. Rb25 injectors are side feed Get an RB20 rail and adapt it. or just get one made...

  13. hey got a set of 6 low impedence Nippon Denso Top Feed 460cc injectors straight fit into rb20/26 fuel rail. will also suit ca18det. $270
  14. squeaky clutch pedal... ? i know when i put my foot on the clutch i can hear clunking under the car sometimes... just lubed it up and was all sweet

  17. the base fuel trim Turbo cars must be set to 00 NA cars to - 35 my car - 88 that base fuel trim affects the entire fuel maps.

I have measured my injectors with a multimeter and they all showed up as 2.4 ohm impedence, 1 showed up as 2.5ohm impedence In my ECU i have a setting for 2.3, 2.4, 2.5 ohm i have currently set them to 2.4 and the injectors work fine, however i was wondering if i should have taken into consideration the resistence of the multimeter probes in relation to the values i received. also what would happen if the inj ohms were off by .1 or so ? thanks Dave
  19. he initially setup my EMS wrong... and now 2 other places have tried to tune around that problem instead of fixing it.
  20. Who in QLD, Brisbane can tune an EMS computer confidently. I am very unhappy at the moment and would like to take my car to someone who knows what they are doing.
  21. yeah all sensors there. My guessing is that somehow the fuel limits on the EMS were set too high, and the EMS thought it wasnt possible to supply anymore fuel above what it had, so it imposed a fuel/ignition cut.

  23. ok for those interested: The ignition break down was actually the car getting too much fuel! yet the AF were 12.1:1 Dyno guy took the car for laps around the block takeing fuel OUT!, said the car seemed heaps better and was running alot better. Comes back to the dyno, does 1 ramp, 11.1:1 AF !!... taking fuel out made the car run richer! We are both stumped as to why this happened. very weird indeed. Should have the car back end of today, tomorrow morning at the latest
  24. last dyno tune we swapped all coil packs due to a missfire all coil packs were good... the miss fire was an error in their tune! i am wondering about the actual ignition module now. Also... the 1:1 gear in my car is 3rd. Should the dyno run be made in 3rd gear, or is it 4th gear no matter what ?
  25. Hey all, Is there anyone on the Brisbane Northside who has an extra igniter module (sits at the back of motor on top of cam cover) for an RB20DET that they may want to part with for a day ? My car just spent day 2 at the dyno and cannot sort out the ignition issues @ 5000rpm. So i would like to try maybe using another ignition module to see if thats my problem. cam anyone help ?
