  1. the new link ecu the g2 is very very good, the g3 which is coming out later this year(or next) is even better just a shame the new ones arent a plug in
  2. the laurels we use are c33
  3. www.linkecu.com should have plenty of info on them there. ive seen a demo of one and it looked pretty good
  4. hey the mafia you can hook them up and they are basically identical however the injector feeds need 2 be swapped for 2 injectors
  5. i know a lot about the cefiros/laurels etc so could be a helpfull addition to the team
  6. when doing a 5 stud conversion from my information you need to use s14/s15 hubs and r32 lower arms z32 brakes fit as do r32gtst and r33gtst cheers
  7. what model is the engine? if its an r32 ive told you above. i own one so should be a half reliable source
  8. http://www.forums.performancecar.co.nz/php...287&start=0 Good result from the team. HKS apparently are getting their car up and running again and hope to retake the record.
  9. the stock injectors are the same size and im sure the afm is also the same (if its the r32 model your talking about) i wouldnt upgrade them but maybe get a fuel pressure reg installed and wind up the fuel pressure in conjunction with a good dyno run
  10. as far as i know the cefiro/skyline loom differences are plugs and nothing more. if you have a look at the wiring diagram i dont see you having any problem. i plan on running an ecr33 power fc on a cefiro with laurel de (originally rb20e) loom with a skyline head and rb30
  11. it still runs an air to air intercooler also last time i checked. why i dont know but there must be some need for cooling. a local tuner here (blue evo that runs low 8's) has said these passes arent on full power either so that shows lots of promise
  12. how much to get it to new zealand?
  13. im quite interested in the amount of pressure (power) some of these clutches can hold up to. im looking at putting out around 350kws atw and have been told ill need a tilton twin plate with custom flywheel. is this necessary??
  14. wasnt that engine going in an s13 going to be damn scary to drive that thing
  15. damn, what a shame you arent in NZ or they would be mine right about now sharp price, i dont think you will have to many problems selling them
  16. a company called japaneseperformance in nz do them also. email them on [email protected] and say byron sent you and they should hook you a good deal. i think they are cheaper that above definitley i definitley get the concept now, just had to have a closer look at the pictures as im blind sometimes hah
  17. i must be taking ages to comprehend this so having a bigger drive and the pump engaging more means is spreading more oil/more oil more evenly etc?
  18. what do you mean by it covers the full length drive of the oil pump? if im using an r32 rb25de oil pump on rb30 it will still work?
  19. just on an offnote. the crank collar adaptor is there so we can install a bigger/better oil pump correct? if not can someone explain?
  20. cheers, i got my 700cc injectors for 600 so i think a resistor pack is definitley worth the trouble
  21. what a load of crap www.linkecu.com the new G2 is very good
  22. what is the main issue cubes. is it simply the resistor being affected by heat?? sydneykid is pretty spot on, so sydneykd would you mind explaining cubes' theory and your opinion of it. will the computer also be affected by the different ohms?
  23. i live in nz and dont seem to have any problem getting 98 fuel so i dont know what your on about. the rips skyline is mainly nitrous also so doesnt really count.
  24. great info mate how much should one expect to spend?
  25. ill go home and check my diagrams but they are from the nissan manual the rb26 has different knock sensors as well. dont know whether that will make a difference though?
