  1. Did u buy cheap coilpacks? Try a mates set of coilpacks as a test to see if it fixes it. Also try dropping the spark plug gap down to .8mm
  2. Clean all pipes and install a catch can, May be a good idea to comp and leakdown test to check engine health

  6. U have to remember that the guy u bought it off left it standard. U have port matched and machined out the manifold and the turbo which may be affecting it
  7. Nice Yeah was very weird, especially how much difference there was in the ignition timing output from his aftermarket ecu to ur software
  8. Howd it go today Theo So all ur worry was a false alarm, the 02 sensor reading in the cypher software the Alex was reading from has no bearing on what the actual AFR's are. Tune was fine except for the 1 area which u heard a ping at low rpm high load which was very difficult to replicate on the dyno due to the auto but i found it and fixed it. Ps, nice single pegger skid when u left

  10. Just to check, where is the boost pressure source coming from? Have u checked that line for splits? Does the boost rise to 23psi instantly or does it hold 18psi then creep to 23psi with higher revs?

  12. Do the exhaust gasses from the wastegate port line up with the split dump ? Id be suprised if the bellmouth doesnt solve it.how much bigger is the new flapper

  16. Im guessing u installed the controller at the stock boost solenoid hoses? This doesnt work, well hasnt for me anyway, i had to change to a different pressure source to get it to work as the stock pressure source is connected to the bov plumback or something stoopid,
  17. Good idea, stock 26 can handle a fair amount of power for a while
  18. Kane u seem to be getting confused. The wastegate doesnt bypass unburnt fuel etc it just bypasses amount of exhaust gas. Ron is 110% correct saying it doesnt matter how much exhaust gas is bypassed it still has the same exhaust gas crom te screamer as the tailpipe
  19. How old is the motor now? Was the head and the deck of the block resurfaced?

  21. When u put the new gasket into the rocker cover grove u need to apply a dab of engine sealant to the sharp corners of the half moon seals.
  22. Put the stock coilpacks back in. Or try another mates set of coilpacks just to diagnose
  23. I wonder if because there is less velocity the 38mm gate might actually help
  24. Time will tell. The kando ig failed with similar setup
