  1. -Make sure the alarm is disarmed(if it has an alarm) -Check for fuel pump priming -
  2. My dyno has its own wideband that logs afr to the graph. I have 2 standalone widebands that can be used for datalogging or roadtuning. I recommend putting the wideband in for piece of mind, can then see if u have a lean out etc due to fuel surge or fuel pump failures etc
  3. Try another set of coilpacks as a test
  4. Last r33 i had come in was running very poorly due to r+r with the highflow. The r33 ecu's are very sensitive to airflow changes and get upset easily. Not saying u deintely will need it but just be aware its possible, But remember it may not need a new turbo just because of the oil in the intake pipe.
  5. If u do get a highflowed turbo as the boys are suggesting the ecu will need to be upgraded, So it all depends on what ur plans are for the car on whether u should upgrade the turbo and ecu etc. As was said already the oil may be from the rocker cover breathers rather than the turbo seals themselves. I recommend cleaning all the piping and installing a catch can in between the rocker cover breathers and the turbo intake pipe, this will stop nearly all of the oil buildup. By all means tho if u wish to upgrade the turbo u should but within a few thousand km's theres a good chance the oil buildup will return to the intake
  6. Its the eccs relay that u guys are talking about. The ecu requires battery backup power and ignition power to 1 pin. Then the eccs relay is teased via a negative pin which inturn powers the eccs relay powering the next 2 power inputs into the ecu turning it on. The reason for this is so when the ignition key is turned off the ecu can hold the eccs relay on to keep the ecu powered for 1 second to allow it to save data to NVRAM. This isnt detrimental to the stock ecu however with a power fc it wont store any changes in the tune without this happening. Op try the ecu on a mates car first. If it doesnt work on that then it may be a faulty ecu. I have just had this happen to me recently and a warranty claim has been started for the power fc
  7. As per pm, check the alarm install. If he tapped into the wiring at the ecu and has used power from the injector power wires or similar it can cause this
  8. I will be fine. NIStune is alot better and alot of tuneability compared to what some tuners think, it is however alot different to most ecu's so some tuners are unfamiliar eith how to tune them correctly
  9. Yep spot on 10.81 131.36mph 402kw full weight 32GTR.
  10. Make sure te cooler pipes are tight and secure also. What coil packs did u get?
  11. Of course not. Make sure shaft is removed ;p
  12. As above. But another common issue is the castor rod bushes are flogged out
  13. Correct as Piggaz said. The quality of te 2000's allows for near perfect idle and low load economy
  14. The airtemp sensor on the GTR plenum is standard. The issue with it is the sensor gets heatsoaked from being directly mounted to the engine via the plenum. Best to move it to either the cold side of the intercooler core or the cooler piping after the cooler to get accurate results
  15. Cheers. Yes i think we should do as Scotty has suggested, turn 02 feedback off then check/adjust timing where necessary
  16. Spot on Scotty, Theo's car wouldnt hold in gear during a power run unless above 4000rpm so was impossible to replicate high load low rpm, Theo bring it back and we can turn the 02 feedback off again and recheck the tune, Maybe u should get a highflow before u bring it back
  17. The 400 lph walbro will be fine, im running one on my GTR with e85 402kw. Im running id2000's however, Though 300 kw is doable with 800's.
  18. Having similar issue's with a sr20 power fc brand new, wont trigger eccs relay therefor wont power on. Maybe theres a bad batch
  19. Heres the overlay of 98 vs ethanol
  20. I was hoping it was better then a 10.7
  21. Because u dont normally see it. Out of site out of mind
  22. Nice car. What power is it making? What do u plan on using the car for? Is it just for the street?
