  1. Alot of things could have happened. Spend the time to investigate the problem and the cause
  2. Also do a comp and leakdown test
  3. Have u logged gnition timing in consult to ensure the ignition is outputting what u are commanding in the timing map? The pinging may be now due to the small pits on the pistons causing hot spots. What spark plugs are u using?

  6. Ouch. Yes base timing can be odd on some cars. Its always best to match the consult. Lesson learnt but the hard way. Is there a compression issue?

  8. Start with the basics. Check all fuses Check for fuel pump priming Check for spark, and spark plug condition Check the injectors are pulsing, Check fuel at the fuel rail

  10. Not good unfortunately. Take the boss kit off so u can have a good look at the threads and make a decision from there. If it doesnt look right i would replace the shaft. Very dangerous if its in poor condition

  13. Recheck all cooler pipes for splits etc
  14. If u can it would be best just to wait till the new seat arrives. Or plumb the wastegate back in to the exhaust
  15. Well then its a fuel related issue if it starts with starter fluid. DONT pull the head off with out diagnosing first
  16. I never understand people that wire things in without researching. Yes thet makes perfect sense as the coolant temp sensor is very sensitive to voltage. It even runs its own seperate sensor ground with only a few sensors like TPS and CAS. Glad u found the issue

  18. I think the dyno results u posted are what makes everyone question the actual results. Other than that its just ur word. Did Pete do the calibration?
  19. Yeah its bsa's setup. Was laggy on his rb20 aswell.
  20. Unless they have wired it incorrectly and interfering with another sensor. Hows it wired in?
  21. What engine? Post a pic of how ur breathers are set up
  22. Unfortunatley not. Different plug or a start and different VQ map needed in ecu.
  23. Yes i built this particular car. Have tuned it on 98 and on Ethanol this time with the 2000's. Tuned up perfectly. Idles perfectly. Smashed his diff 2nd time out on track haha. 270kw sr20
