  1. autowatch 446 RLI or 446P. if you want try to hold off till mid Jan as I'm doing a run down that way and I can do it. let me know as it will take a day to do properly.
  2. they are as good as the installer..
  3. mind you these things are VERY simple to work on. dash comes out quite easily. only thing to be mindful of is the passenger airbag. (if you have a scan tool this is not a problem.)
  4. have one in the workshop now - STRIPPED! (security and audio fitment.)
  5. brissy 2nd. I have 3 ready and waiting in QLD alone. all are dealers.
  6. nah thats easy. I usually have the 03 versions. have yet to load it onto the site though. did note someone poking around in that area tonight (I'm doing updates ATM.)
  7. easier if you call me. I'm not one to quote on a job sight unseen. if I do it the whole lot will come out and get refitted properly.
  8. in 2-3 colours and both versions I may add (now I know who was poking around that section of the site- saw it on the logs tonight.)
  9. driftt, wasn't it you reading the fine print on this a year or so ago to me I'd say they are targeting the small amount of grey euros trickling in.
  10. Aaron, had that come up a few days back with a factory cruise M35. they hated the fact that a mates V35 could sit on cruise at a silly speed and they were stuck on 110. done a fair few of those kits now
  11. nope thats for the diversity antenna. its not used in your case.
  12. one quick point - trade plate. (and I do have one specifically for this purpose.)
  13. gary, ta! I was going to give you a call on that. good to hear that its behaving itself. KSJ602, I do dealer work but thats it.(who has the car btw?) in regard to dropping the car off - I do pickup/drop off with customers a fair bit. can do teh same with cars but prefer not to if I can avoid it. I'm not one to totally strip a car (and I do.) in the middle of someone's front yard and then cop bad weather. the alarm installs I do take on average of 4-5 hours and by the end of it you wont see where I have been. in regard to doing onsite small stuff (radio fits and the like.) I still do that. pear, lost count on how many years I have been a SAU club member. I do know that almost every key event I have donated something.
  14. now if only 99% of people that think they can fit these things properly would actually read this!! (one can dream!)
  15. tony, since you are out west (and I hope you haev not moved.) go see crankin car audio in condell pak. hakki is quite good at what he does and will have no issue doing what you are asking.
  16. kristian, what driveline is under these things?
  17. it is a condition of the specialist insurers to have one and have it fitted to the same standard (which no one seems to get right!) as for what suits you- budget?
  18. no I'm the guy with business to run and a family to feed (that was aimed at your final comment btw.)
  19. run the car up here and I'll do it.
  20. that would be me. (see sig.) in MLB - see stylyn car audio in boronia - speak to adam (0397398866) mention me.
  21. no I've done a ipod solution into one. ths one is done via the radio and OEM SWC controls. I have a mule for it now and you probably wont hear anything for 6-8 weeks whilst this piece is on trial.
  22. 4-6 weeks is my test time. up to you.
  23. as above. I'm trialing a few of these BEFORE I bring a bunch of them in to sell. I need a OEM radio equipped car (bose or non bose - don't care..) to put this into for a month or so. it's no cost to you and you need to have an iphone preferably. the aim is to provide an iphone solution for these cars with direct control off the radio/ SWC for the unit. car needs to be in brissy and the install will be done here. takers?
  24. for me : have scan tool will travel. I'm a gadget person though. those things couldnt be any bigger than the current breadbox they sell. what driveline is under it? from a totally different angle : the toyota tundra does get sold here as a grey market ute and its a fair bit bigger than a landcruiser. it has a market and I dare say these will to. the tundra by the time its flipped (LHD->RHD) is $100k.
