  1. anything is possible given $$. I'll leave it at that.
  2. researching this now. if there is an interest then I'll go ahead with it. box that I intend to use WILL play movies as well. it will use the OE screen and I'll make a blanking plate for the OE controls. rough costing is in the $1-2K mark and will cover both generations. I have a full replacement solution in the works as well. more info on that later. so do I have interest?
  3. good find - I have to rework one of those in a few weeks.
  4. what radio are you using? I'll base my system around that.
  5. true. checking things though requires the battery to at least be released so you can get at the relays properly.
  6. I like. its a bit different. similar idea to the Fuga.
  7. car dependent really. I know of at least 5 styles.
  8. tow truck. thats the only way - publicy to by pass it. do not PM me for more info.
  9. tear it down. you will find it will be scotchlocked in place. most of them I have seen are dealer fitted.
  10. REPLACEMENT PARTS LIGHTING HEADLIGHTS for those wanting the cheap way out of replacing headlights in these cars - The USDM G35 sedan and coupe DO NOT SUIT these cars. yes they will fit in place BUT due to the reflector shape and the driving position of the US car, they will not work properly. you will be blinding oncoming traffic and endangering pedestrians CLICK HERE for that discussion. as for swapping them for later lights - yes. JDM items ONLY they will bolt in and with fiddling you can use the projector lights from the 2006 cars. the Xenon lights are not compliant but the mod that has been done is usually reversible IF you have the ballasts for themAND they are intact. REAR LIGHTS yep they are swappable. the 2006 items have a boot switch on them. with fiddling you can make this work. as for putting USDM lights in there - yes they fit , no they are NOT compliant with ADRs and as such if you have a accident with them fitted there is a HIGH chance your insurance company will not pay up and they are a defectable item as well. INTERIOR LIGHTING LEDS - doable and have been done. if you are ADDING lights to these cars internally keep in mind you run the risk of DESTROYING a body module. fixing it WILL NOT be cheap. it is suggested you have a schematic of the car or a proper kit designed for it.
  11. cant see the rear lights properly - are they USDM ones?
  12. no more silly questions- speakers have been covered. I wrote the article for that
  13. that will work fine. its the same one I sell.
  14. no probs. bear in mind that it is the USDM manual and should be used as a GUIDE ONLY. its close enough to help you but that it. pinning on hte plugs will be close enough and locations will be close as well.
  15. remind me not to be driving past you... ( they are aimed DIRECTLY at the oncoming driver.)
  16. most of the relays for that are behind the battery. they are labelled as well. that said to get at them the battery has to come out. also (I'm assuming you are somewhat mechanical) have you tried to manually run the fans? (IE put +12v directly to to them)
  17. and you live where? you really need a scan tool on it and a service manual for it. for 2003 coupe CLICK HERE FOR IT!
  18. no just all the outside stuff. inside - glove box and associated panels.
  19. possibly
  20. when you get sick of the stereo in it give me a call ... ( they are a nice car )
  21. pdf will do it, you need that antenna plug.
  22. remove EVERYTHING around the passnegner grommet and untape it. getting a 4awg cable through it neatly is a bitch but can be done. that ENTIRE corner has to come out/apart and most of the stuff arcoss the top as well. stagea is the same and I've done that one in a similar fashion.
  23. deeper conspiracy (domain is giving me greif and I cant do anything about it unitl monday.)
  24. ah ok. thought the name was familiar.
