make sure if you get one with the smart key that it has TWO keys. local nissan dealers tend to bitch at me when I send them cars to rekey. keys will be a sticking point with these. find a nissan dealer that speaks import and works on imports. parts - easy. I can get most things for these quite easily and quickly. Immobilser - that was a insurance requirement actually. ADR 82 I *think* has been updated. questions - ask. I will reply when I have time.

so what exactly happened?

bite me.. at the time of posting I had a white S1 and black s2 to compare with.. carmen imports gave me both to rework navi. I also owned a twin turbo subaru that had an appetite if I booted it. always had my van and that surprises a few people.

how much of the airbox survived btw?

colin, seatbelts ? all still retract? door and rear side panels? condition? can pull all of it when ever you want.

great way to get a car consficated.. these things have rules and times of use. yes they get loaned but given they are $1k a year i wont let mine out of my sight. if you are game enough to post it on a public site that the police read then you are asking for trouble. my 2c.

cruise was an option in japan. thing being most japs fell asleep at the wheel and due to that it was not a popular option. yes I do a kit for them

ordered a new GTR hood catch support yesterday. $45 negoiated with an old SAU member NEW factory tinted side glass. (brett, been busy with other things - sorrry. need those lights back as well pls.) slowly buying more bits for it. lot going on in my personal life and not a lot of time to work on this.

for those that are buying V36 cars. buy them without navi. I have a drop in solution that uses a Garmin back end and it is TOUCH screen based. for those that bought cars WITH factory navi. I CANNOT help you.

look at the diagrams inthe back of the book. add actuator is the required one.

good job. you will not have half the problem that the aftermarket actautors have doin it this way.

this goes back to the days of people bitching about locked motec m8 s . tuner would lock the unit so it could not be fiddled with. customer would bitch because their mate had a cable and could not get in. at the end of it you pay for work to be done by a shop and bot so you can get in and fiddle afterwards. if you were doing dual maps on the car then fuel switching would bevthevonly real advantage to me. adding a blower to the car hardly makes twin maps worthwhile on a otherwise stock computer.

yep that is the same as the ones I use. mid 90s unit. did you get the plug with it?
